Brandon Sanderson is that a slave at creating inimitable at the same time deaf worlds, at the same time the ever-expanding universe of Skyward is that no different. In Starsight we are introduced to an breathtaking brand new location, a smattering of brand new species, at the same time a deadly danger. Sanderson delivers on building not only stellar visuals, but also interest. But, anything Is that lacking. Anything doesnt feel quite right. Everything is that very smooth, very easy for Spensa. She is that a disposition who is that arrogant, rash, non-compliant at the same time is that always going against orders by following her gut or know-how. Still, she never really gets in problem. Convinced, people are disappoint that she was disobedient once again, but she never feels the consequences of her deeds. Also, everything works out for her attractive simply. She ends up taking on a Gigantic intended goal, which has a bare least plan at the same time super-fast reprisal, without out no matter what true conflict or delays. M-bot is that still a gaping hit at the same time really the only disposition who lasts to developer, but he is that the reason why Spensa doesnt struggle much. Also, she thrashes up her “opportunities” attractive simply with no training at the same time is that sort of Mary Sue to overcome the day.
I have a hard time placing how I feel about this book (at the same time television series as a whole) because Sanderson keeps dangling information at the same time questions. I feel enjoy getting so many answers in this book that it distracts from the fact that it is that not his best. That will be one more book although I wish it had ended here. I don’t feel invested in the manners even as I wish to know more about the global at the same time the conflicts. It’s a strange place to be in. I assign this book 3.5 hit. 3 seems a lot a slight with the global at the same time interest Sanderson has created, but 4 seems noble taking into account that shortcoming of characterization at the same time conflict. Its methodically written, imaginatively inspiring, at the same time lacking in gut.

I adore Sanderson books. I’ve read Mistborn, Reckoners, Elantris, Warbreaker, Stormlight, etc etc etc abundance times at the same time they all held back my attention any time. This book though… doesn’t. I mostly complain the unchanging plural pronoun implementation in referring to a singular disposition. It is that disruptive as i all the time had to recheck who was in the scene. Around page 200, it got exciting for about 100 pages. I have 70 more pages to move…. but it is that my lesser winner of all his books besides the Alcatraz television series, which are dumb on purpose at the same time so can be forgiven.

Audiobook Starsight (Skyward #2) by Brandon Sanderson
*WARNING* – This REVEIW CONTAINS MAJOR SPOILERS FOR STARSIGHT
Before I they say anything, I would like to state that Brandon Sanderson is that an Awesome writer at the same time Skyward was for sure the best book I’ve read in a while. That being misspoke, not every sequel can be as quality as the 1st.
Starsight was an okay read, but it was lacking with the teamwork laced throughout Skyward. Instead of Spensa working with her flightmates introduced in the 1st book, she spends the most of the book in outer place, infiltrating the Krell. Because of this, the interactions between Spensa at the same time the other manners are often humorless, at the same time it was not enjoyable. M-Bot, as usual, was that to lighten the mood, but his time was also limited in the book.
Spensa finds a brand new flight, but it lacks the disposition development at the same time experience as Skyward Flight. That is that No one romance between Jorgen at the same time Spensa, but it is that an very small amount. Also, Spensa’s flightmates from Skyward are only mentioned once or two times in the book. Why would for you shackles so much time into writing manners then and not have them play even a insignificant part in the one more book?
On the plus side, Jorgen seems to developer more into his possess personality, at the same time abundance questions from Skyward are answered. WARNING – this book does finish on a cliffhanger.
Honestly, reading this book is that totally right up to for you. I would advise this book, but only for the purpose of gaining information for the one more book. I cordially have hope that Sanderson’s ending Skyward book is that more successful written at the same time spends more time with the OGs of Skyward.

Audio Starsight (Skyward #2) narrated by Suzy Jackson
This book would have been alright for maybe one half the kindle cost of 10.99 but it barely wasn’t quality enough to prove the real cost to me, in particular taking into account the good quality of work we have typically come to wait from this creator. The whole story feels like a lot brand new information has been shoe-horned into one volume for no apparent reason. Other than the head disposition at the same time her ship, Starsight is that practically wholly about completely brand new manners at the same time events which are very far outside of the rooted experience of the head disposition to make this story believable. I understand being interested enough in Skyward to wish to know than anyway happens one more, but even with the pseudo-cliffhanger-morphed-into-total-cliffhanger ending of Starsight I’m really not inclined to keep following this television series.
Individually, I would much prefer if Mr. Sanderson concentrated on the Stormlight Archive television series instead. At the moment those are no one amazing books.

More than anything, than anyway I save about Brandon’s books will that the stories are never predictable. The conspiracies move off in fronts I never would have foresaw, but not randomly so. Every writhe at the same time turn is that the result of understandable (if not always reasonable) choices the manners make. Starsight is that no exception. It’s not the straightforward continuation of the story in Skyward. Spensa (at the same time M-Bot) face wholly brand new at the same time exciting challenges at the same time last grow. I defeated’t spoil no matter what of it, but I sincerely advise it for everyone who enjoyed Skyward or no matter what of Brandon’s past books. I know they market these as being for a younger audience because the protagonist is that a young lady, but for you don’t have to be a kid to enjoy them. The story at the same time complete worldbuilding are appealing even to an old young man like me.
