I really wanted to like this book. It came highly advised by 2 of my winner YouTube book
Reviewers. But, this ended up being a true slog to get through, at the same time I for sure won’t be buying the 2nd book in the television series. Pacing. This book is that significantly lengthy for YA. It begins significantly quickly, but then s-l-o-w-s down for the one more several 100 pages, before rushing to an incomplete ending. The central heist takes a back seat to long descriptions of the global; these are but written, at the same time quite engaging, but the heist itself, at the same time the magic-world, receive little commentary. As other
Reviewers have noted, the ”magic” is that mostly concealed–so, the 3rd personality narrator doesn’t really describe the miracle, it’s uses, consequences, etc. Manners: I had true inconsistencies with the heroine, Esta. She’s been taught since youth in unarmed combat at the same time theft by stealth. But, she has no discipline, at the same time argues with teammembers during critical times (frequently in the midst of hazardous operations). If anyone grabs her by the arm, she is that helplessly occupied, at the same time cannot burst free. The creator writes her into no one really unsafe situations, but Esta’s reactions are more damsel-in-distress than taught at the same time experienced thief. For all manners, no one trusts anyone else, at the same time this is that multiple throughout the book, at the same time frequently. Romance is that at the grade-school level, though this is that YA lit, at the same time the actors are young adults. That is that a lesbian almost-couple, but in other words all assumed, at the same time never understood. The Asian major disposition is that a highlight, at the same time the European immigrants are also but protrayed, but these are generally the exceptions. Sex. Even though Esta–our head disposition–is that certainly a young lady, almost all of the ladies manners are weak. Even Esta is that continually abused, at the same time assualted. There are some deaths; almost all of them are ladies. Almost all of the deprivation is that suffered by ladies. At the moment, this may have been historically clear, but the result can be black at the same time relentless. The creator does cross out but, at the same time I found the generic world-building beautifully descriptive, if black. I do wish the wonderful global acquired similar attention. I mostly wish the young-adult manners weren’t artificially hamstrung with low maturity.

Ive been meaning to read this one for a while, but the Shelflove Crate Every year Readathon pushed me to it along with an email I received letting me know the 2nd book in the television series is due to be freed this year. I read The Continue Sorcerer for challenge 8 of the readathon, which was meant to be A Book Involving Time. I dont understand no matter what specific TW/CWs for this one so lets barely dive right in! The manners in this novel were considered all really but developers. Any personal disposition is that so 3 dimensional at the same time close to reality that I have problem imagining them as concocted manners at the same time not true people. The implementation of repeated fri of opinion was a little confusing at first because I wasnt expecting it at the same time I wasnt reading the physical version, but I quickly got applied to the plan. Also, I have 3 words you: Smoky. Blaze. Romance. The Continue Sorcerer is that set in Brand new York Town during various times, located day all the method back to 1902. I really like how Lisa Maxwell was able to layer it all so that the global is that similar but also very different between these twice. She also able to layer in one more global with it that was a creation all her possess, though at the moment that Im thinking on it bestows me a little of the quality ole Wizarding Global feel. Ive not individually been to Brand new York Town, which I feel is that odd data Im initially from upstate, but I did feel like I managed have been promenading down the streets alongside these manners. I received Six of Crows feels in quite a few spots, so this is that amazing for lol of the Grishaverse, but its exactly clear so the comparison stops that. Its barely a feeling I received while reading that was very flawless for readers of at the same time I felt I had to share. Thinking on it while writing this
Review, Im going to move overtake at the same time they say that The Continue Sorcerer is that basically a Six of Crows meets the Wizarding Global at the same time I, for one, am 120% here for it. The story itself is that completely excellent at the same time flows utterly but, though as I misspoke before I did get just a little confused first of the audiobook due to the varying fri of opinion taking dispose in different times of similar town. It was basically one plot writhe right behind one more at the same time I barely adored every single moment of it. The audiobook version of The Continue Sorcerer was narrated by Candace Thaxton at the same time I was not at all fond of her reading. Her voice was a little scratchy? That without the help of others wouldnt have been a problem but the method she read the novel really worried me. Her inflection didnt fit the story at all at the same time it ended up bugging me enough that I shackles the audiobook version away at the same time read the 2nd one half of the novel in its hardcover physical version. Ill for sure beware listening to her work in the future. In general this book is that mind-blowing at the same time I have no plan than anyway took me so long to read it but I wont make that monotonous mistake with the sequel. Im exactly looking forward to that at the same time anything else Lisa Maxwell writes because I barely enjoyed this novel beginning to finish. I may even recount it when the sequel comes out barely because it was that darn quality!

Audiobook The Continue Sorcerer (The Continue Sorcerer #1) by Lisa Maxwell
So I 1st wanted to read it as it was set in the premature 1900s at the same time I adore historical fiction at the same time this book had miracle at the same time was about a heist! So it already had me interested. When I started reading it I understood I would adore this book at the same time I was completely hooked. The only rule that counted was to not get caught. The 1st few chapters are set in different time periods as we meet all the manners at the same time get a feel for the story. It can seem confusing at first but I was able to figure things out significantly quickly at the same time with the repeated fri of opinion were considered able to look a wider opinion of the global at the same time the method the miracle system works than if we had only shown things from one of them. I adored the setting so much it was so vivid at the same time we received to look so much of Brand new York at the same time not just the glittery parts but also the impoverished parts where things arent so rosy at the same time indefinite is that problematic. The global building was really amazing at the same time we get to look more and more of the global at the same time look it become more complete at the same time intricate. The manners themselves are all awesome, it was hard to hate no matter what disposition even the villain. They were considered all complete at the same time had amazing disposition building. They were considered any data time to developer as the story progressed at the same time any had their possess back stories at the same time storylines interwoven into the head story wonderfully. It didnt feel obligated or that we were considered data unnecessary information which might have downtrodden up the story. My favourite disposition was obviously Esta, who has the ability to manipulate time at the same time can take a trip between different time periods. She has to live in the premature 1900s at the same time even though she was from our located day so it was funny to look how she had to adjust to being a lady in ever since. She is that funny, sassy at the same time I adore that we got to look a vulnerable side to her, who hesitates her ability but persists nonetheless. It was one of the things I adored about her. But then, people ordinary do miss whats right in front of them. My other favourite disposition is that Harte Darrigan who is that sassy at the same time acts as though he doesnt care about others at the same time always likes to stay in keep under control of the situation but we also look a more vulnerable side. His at the same time Estas banter at the same time rivalry was one of my favourite parts of the story at the same time we get to look how their connection develops. The story itself develops at a quality pace at the same time we get to look it build to the ending which left me shocked as it was so out of the blue. The story is that a heist at the same time real of deception where any disposition has their possess motives at the same time plans despite working together as a team, no-one is that who they demand to be at the same time we have to figure out who we can hope. The revelation of the villain was so surprising at the same time out of the blue very which barely goes to demonstrate that no-one can be trusted in this book! But then, liars do make the best sorcerers, at the same time he happened to be exceptional. We also get a sense of urgency for Esta to wholesome her job as she has a news clipping from the future which keeps changing depending on the deeds at the same time configurations that happen in the past. It was a sweet addition to make more suspense at the same time keep us on the edges of our seats. I highly advise this book to anyone who loves historical fiction, miracle, time travelling at the same time heists!

OMG for you know that feeling a few chapters into a book when for you barely know youve found a brand new favourite book, thats how I felt reading this book. I was honestly so engrossed with this story at the same time every time I had to finish reading I would think all the time about than anyway I had barely read, Im barely so in adore with this book it is that honestly one of the best books Ive read in a while at the same time I know it is that one of my brand new favourite television series even without having read the 2nd book still but Im honestly so shocked to start the one more book. Like it kept me all the time wanting to know than anyway was future at the same time I gasped when the bigger plot squirms were considered revealed nearby the finish of the book, I cant advise this book enough

I completely adored this YA fantasy about time-travel, Brand new York gangs, heists, at the same time miracle. The Brand new York setting was beautifully atmospheric, in particular the sections set in 1902 at the same time hooked me immediately with its immediacy at the same time wealthy detail. Esta was a excellent head disposition at the same time one I grew to adore. Her ability to manipulate time was such funny still it never felt like an easy-out in no matter what problematic situation. I fell in love with the sorcerer Harte Darrigan at the same time his interactions with Esta were considered my favourite part. The cast of manners was unforgettable at the same time any one stood out. Viola at the same time Jianyu were considered my favourite supporting manners at the same time I have hope we see more of them in the one more book. I’m also interested in exploring Esta’s history at the same time generic just a little more at no one fri following the opens of this book. I hurtled through this 500-page book with its interest, plotting at the same time betrayals. The continue 100 pages contained writhe right behind writhe meaning I couldn’t shackles it down until I’d ended at 4 am. For such a bigger book, it never felt like it dragged. I can’t wait for ’The Devil’s Thief’ later this year, in particular with it at the moment being a race against time for Esta at the same time her brand new crew. I would exactly advise this book if you’re looking for a a little different YA fantasy or for fans of ’Six of Crows’.
