Review #1 The Seduction Of Elliot McBride (Mackenzies & McBrides #5) audiobook free I have very much enjoyed this gifted creator’s MacKenzie television series (Victorian Great britain at the same time Scotland) at the same time abundance of her paranormal Shifter television series (modern urbanized fantasy) as but. In truth, no one of the MacKenzie books, in particular the one about Beth at the same time Ian, are in the middle my all-time winner romantic historical fiction. Although their options are very different, the best books in both these television series have in ubiquitous quality writing, cautious plotting, a compelling story, just a little leavening humor, appealing at the same time highly personal manners, at the same time above all convincing sensual connections between lol, generic at the same time comrades. These are data time at the same time reason to developer, so that falling into their global is that effortless. Chagrin, none of these important parts are to be found in “The Seduction of Elliot McBride.” It’s awful, not a work of a mature writer at all, very far beneath the good quality of the earlier MacKenzie television series books in everything. In truth, I have a theory that this book may have been done by quickly putting a few patches into an premature unpublished work of the creator at the same time waited to coast on the good quality of her MacKenzie books. If so, it sinks like a stone. (A few spoilers overtake) The two manage manners understood each other a little as toddlers at the same time any had a grind on the other. (The hero was having very graphic fantasies about her even when they were considered 16.) He goes off to India at the same time becomes (1) very wealthy, (2) sort of a Scottish/Indian ninja, at the same time (3) occupied at the same time tormented for years at the same time years so that he has no one good of formidable PTSD-like define on his return. (Obviously, the years of horrible torture have had no effect on his roguish quality types or his physical or sexual functionality.) He moves into a dashing, falling-down fake Scottish castle that comes wholesome with a absurd stereotypic old Scottish grump with a musket at the same time a stereotypic young, strapping red-headed Scots lad who insists on piping them into the dining room. But Elliot wants the lady he hardly knows but has fantasized about all these years so he goes to burst up her nuptials. Meanwhile, she has grown into a pampered lady fond of running her dad’s homes at the same time making lists to classify everything. She of course knows nothing of true emotion or values because she is that at the altar waiting for a bridegroom whom she doesn’t like or have no matter what implementation for. Fortunately, he has eloped with his piano teacher without informing her. So she goes to an adjoining chapel to win her trouble at the same time sits down — right on the sleeping Elliot! Izumi, izumi, she believed he was in India. So, since all the marriage guests are still waiting, they in one moment decide to marry each other instead at the same time do so. He flocks this pampered, hyper-organized virgin off to his falling-down dashing castle at the same time they immediately, at the same time I greedy immediately, start having personal, dress-ripping, roaring sex. Again at the same time again. Everywhere. Many of which, the day right behind their arrival, on the dining room table, with screaming at the same time ripping at the same time everyone in hearing distance at midday. Oh, at the same time later that day she learns unintentionally that the little lady who came with his Indian servants is that his daughter! At the same time those Indian servants are disturbingly subprime stereotypes as but, which is that unlike Ashley’s more successful writing, barely as the abundance very contrived plot lines (which I defeated’t bore both of us with here) at the same time unconvincing affairs are. That is that nothing I can fri to as a reason that makes this book worth reading. Interestingly, Ainsley, who is that a quality heroine in the earlier (well-written) book starring her at the same time Camerons MacKenzie, knows her wife in that book about the PTSD-like symptoms of her brother Elliot McBride of the today's (bad) book bestow him have hope that he can cure from his possess past terrors. This tends to reinforce my suspicion that the Elliot McBride book is that a patched-up version of an old unpublished manuscript predating the MacKenzie books. That are also a few parallels with Ian MacKenzie’s difficulty in being around people at the same time being susceptible to “muddles.” But in other words as far as the similarity goes. I give a hint for you read the Mackenzie books by this creator, starting with Ian’s, but assign this poor-quality, annoying book a miss.

Review #2 The Seduction Of Elliot McBride (Mackenzies & McBrides #5) audiobook streamming online ** 3.25 hit ** I liked this book more successful than Hart at the same time Eleanor’s story. I liked both Juliana at the same time Elliot separately as but as a couple. They were considered likable at the same time had magical chemistry. Every book in this television series individualities a couple that already know each other (apart from Ian at the same time Beth) at the same time this one is that about two people understanding each other almost all of their lives at the same time carrying a torch for as long. That was a significant amount of eloquence between them when both Juliana at the same time Elliot confessed their emotions at the same time in particular how long they had them. I enjoyed it juxtaposed with Elliot’s daily struggles with PTSD. I do not care how the creator went about making Elliot all more successful in regards to aforementioned PTSD but I enjoyed her descriptions real of black types at the same time anguished feelings. The whole interest/suspense angle didn’t work much for me. I think people forgave very simply at the same time resolutions came about very conveniently, but we can’t have it all flawless. I am glad to say that in this story the MCs mostly communicated together avoiding abundance misunderstandings along the method. The book was sweet. It read simply at the same time was inexorably paced with no one predictable finals but overall enjoyable.

Review #3 Audiobook The Seduction Of Elliot McBride (Mackenzies & McBrides #5) by Jennifer Ashley Until this book the 1st one with Ian at the same time Beth was my winner. This one ties it. I adored this book. Almost all books in this genre the heroine has the catastrophic past at the same time has to face her demons with the help of the hero. But this television series strings that plan upside down. It is that the male manage , Elliott who has the horrible past at the same time has to win it with the help of the ladies manage, Juliana. The story was but written, the manners multidimensional. I adore this television series one quality book right behind one more! Elliot at the same time Juliana’s story is that mesmerizing. A amazing read! Don’t miss it!

Review #4 Audio The Seduction Of Elliot McBride (Mackenzies & McBrides #5) narrated by Angela Dawe The story started out quality at the same time exciting. Then and midway through the story it dragged. That were considered a lot manners drawn in at the same time I found myself skimming through the pages wondering when it will end. Also, no one editing is that needed. Spoilers overtake. That were considered no one squirms like the PTSD of the hero, the issue with the ex-colleague/comrade, the issue with the dead ex mistress at the same time his baby with her, the assassins going right behind the ex-colleague/comrade, the blackmailers. In all of these I did not feel the romance despite the addition of mild sex scenes. It felt like an non-individual story with things happening at the same time being resolved at the same time abundance manners drawn in that it was hard to keep trace of who is that who in whose indefinite. The plot did not decide me on a journey of adore at the same time it is that my only expectation of a historical romance. The continue chapter felt like an epilogue so that was quality. I was initially planning on reading more books from the television series but I have dared to shackles it off. It will barely have to stay in my reading list in the meantime.

Review #5 Free audio The Seduction Of Elliot McBride (Mackenzies & McBrides #5) – in the audio player below I would have data this book 5 hit apart from for 1 gizmo: Priti. She didnt really have a major tilt in the book so I dont realize why she even was. Why was it that the hero had to have had been the one to dad the baby when it managed have been the other young man since they were considered dozing with the chick at once. At the same time she happened to adore the other young man at the same time not the hero. Otherwise I completely adored this book. The hero at the same time heroine were considered amazing! I barely had a hard time getting past the kid.
