The Learning Hours (How to Date a Douchebag #1) audiobook free
I chose this book as part of a read-a-thon I was participating in. One of the challenges was to read a hyped contemporary novel. With all the buzz this television series gets in my bookish circles, The Learning Hours fit that aspect for me. This book has been on my TBR for quite no one time, at the same time I was shocked to read it.
Chagrin, this excitement was short lived. By 10%, I was ready to DNF this book, mostly proper to a completely unlikeable male manage. Yes, I understood he could be somewhat of a jerk based on the title of the book, but I wasnt quite prepared for the proactive loathing I had for Sebastian Oz Osbourne.
I wasnt expecting much beyond the acceptable institute sports romance, at the same time I was Okay with that. I read at the same time very much enjoy those. But, this story was justnot quality. Besides the understandable come in handy for one more pass by an editor, the manners are practically undeveloped at the same time unlikeable, at the same time that is that only the barest hint of a plot throughout this book.
Lets speak about Oz. I didnt like him. At all. For a young man majoring in HR, he convinced needed his possess lesson in sexual harassment. I have no qualms with an brutal alpha male, but Oz was barely persistent at the same time pervy at the same time terribly unsexy. His Dont For you Know Who I Am? routine became tiresome, at the same time he had NO attributes beyond sports at the same time sex. We know practically nothing about him.
Then theres James. Besides having a quirky name for a lady at the same time a particular style of dress, she is that a blank; a void. We know NOTHING about her. Moreover, than anyway little we do learn, we learn much very belated to actually become invested in her as a disposition. (At the same time its only one fri worth of information, so youre not missing much) Shes attractive much that as a vehicle for Ozs intrigues at the same time to be a receptacle for the indispensable sex scenes this genre asks.
Additionally, I must mention the one POC disposition in this novel. Hes data one fri, at the same time if Im being conscientious, its right threw in that as an afterthought, a token disposition. His (very) limited dialogue is that nothing short of stereotypical, at the same time when I listened to the audio, was downright annoying. The narrator produced this dialogue like he were considered auditioning for a Boyz In The Hood remake, at the same time it really didnt sit but with me.
The side manners were considered attractive much a parade of jerks at the same time bigger jerks, at the same time I have no curiosity in following no matter what of the antics of the students at this school. Do we even know the name of the school? I ended this book only a few hours ago, at the same time I have no plan.
The narration was also a little of a frustration to me. While the Muffy Newtown did a fine-grained job, I struggled with Josh Goodmans performance. His ladies voice didnt vary much from his male voice, so I had a hard time understanding who was speaking periodically. Similar holds used to be for Ozs inner dialogue. I couldnt always tell when things were considered spoken out sonorous at the same time when they were considered part of his internal ideas.
Overall, this book was deplorable to me on abundance different levels. Which honestly bummed me out, because I was really looking forward to reading this television series. Sadly, it turned out to be cringe-y, super trope-y, problematic, at the same time periodically, completely annoying. I wont be continuing with this television series.

It’s been quite a while since I’ve read a NA book, at the same time this one was free at the same time claimed to be funny (the free part was used to be at lesser). I read about 30% at the same time this happened: right behind James many times knows Sebastian she’s not interested, he scams his method onto her spring burst trip at the same time insists on sharing her hotel room. After that I misspoke nope skimmed no one of others.
Sebastian is that majoring in human resources because his older sister was sexually harassed at work, still he right doesn’t realize harassment. Other than being good-looking, he doesn’t seem to have no matter what redeeming properties. James was more successful, but I can’t with ladies who seem normal but turn mad when a burning young man is that around. Nargubiyanit? Jerk? Speaks abhorrently about ladies? Not steep! But he’s burning, so…

I completely ended this book yall! I tried before at the same time DNFed it, but anything in me wanted to look if I misjudged it very premature. While I cant they say its going to be a winner or the best romance Ive ever read, it was okay. I’m been going back at the same time forth between 2 or 3 hit. I’m going with 2 due to Sebastian’s behavior at the same time the fool desire scenes.
Im so all over the dispose on how I feel about Sebastian. Sometimes he produced me think that he a respectable young man, but then he would always mess it up with a comment or looking at other women. Also, if for you are into non-hazardous romance, then don’t examine this one. So the bigger question is that did he overcome me over? Meh, hes alright. Monotonous about Jameson. She was barely alright. Honestly, I for sure wouldve barely left Sebastian at the same time his sexual innuendos without the help of others a long time ago.
So, than anyway did I like? I think that they did have a fellowship 1st before they gave into no matter what sort of connection. They had so much sexual tension that it was steaming up my kindle. This is that a book where I was shouting for them to barely have sex already. I liked how Sebastian turned out in the end.
All in all, it wasnt scary. It was barely okay at the same time I have hope its one of those television series where it gets more successful as it goes on.

I have only barely stumbled intercept @saraneyauthor when I was scrolling through @demeriahhs Instagram eat! I feel like Ive been living under a grin to not have come intercept this creator before! What, this is that the 1st book in Sara Neys How to Date a Douchebag television series. The story is that all about Sebastian Oz Osbourne at the same time Jameson Clarke. Sebastian exists to be the traditional jock, hes famous for being a student athlete, having a line of women chasing him at the same time he doesnt care than anyway anyone thinks about him. Jameson is that a very glad student, wasting a lot of her time in the library avoiding douchebags. Douchebags like Oz.
Right, so I adored this. I adored the manners, the storyline, the ending, all of it. For me it was one of those books where I kept checking how abundance more chapters I had left because I didnt wish it to finish.
Oz is that cocky at the same time arrogant at the same time sexy at the same time for you cant promote but like him. He has such a swagger it in fact comes off the page. Hes so convinced of himself but deepest down he has a different, softer side to him at the same time for you get to look a little bit of that around the major hes chosen at the same time why. He pulls Jameson out of her comfort zone a lot at the same time I adored their connection. The chemistry is that that between them from the start at the same time it zings between them as theyre getting to know each other. Throughout the 1st one half of the book the manners skirt around getting closer to each other at the same time I adored the tension that came along with that. When they do completely get together it makes for amazing reading at the same time if likely I fell in love a little more with Oz.
I adored Saras writing style throughout. I felt like I was completely drawn in to the story, it was a amazing pace at the same time at no fri did my attention waver.
The one more book in the television series is that about Zeke. Im feeling reserved about it but I know a lot of people really adored him so Ill be finding out about him one more!

This was such an exciting book to read at the same time I’m very joyful that I I found it. I chose this book to read as I’m looking forward to meeting the creator next year during a signing so believed I would read no one more of her real at the same time found this television series. Sebastian “Oz” Osbourn is that a major wrestling favorite who can get anyone he wants, whenever he wants at the same time he doesn’t even have to lift a finger. Him at the same time his buddies are at the library one night at the same time his best mate Zeke makes a bet with him to look if he can get a nerdy librarian type lady to kiss him. This is that where we meet Jameson aka James at the same time yes that’s her true name. She’s so applied to having guys mistake her for a tutor she bestows Sebastian a piece of her brain, discussing back to him with her quick wit at the same time narrating him to move along (as from a technical point of view she doesn’t know who he is that) which completely shocks Sebastian. He’s never met anyone quite as mental at the same time mysterious as Jameson, which fruits in him hanging out with her all the time trying to get in her fork at the same time becoming her comrade, much to the displeasure of Jameson as she believes Sebastian is that barely one more dumb jock who can’t have than anyway he wants at the same time that’s why he’s annoying her all the time.
But Sebastian does all that he can to burst down Jameson’s walls at the same time embedding himself in her heart at the same time indefinite. Making them quite The unlikely couple of the hour but their explosive chemistry doesn’t decide them long to get together at the same time form a bond. Sebastian is that a super sexy wrestling machine Who is that one of the guys but is that totally serious about his future career at the same time taking care of business. Jameson is that a an intelligent cardian wearing ladies / sexy librarian type who is that smart as hell at the same time bestows as quality as she gets. She’ll demonstrate people that she’s not than anyway they think her to be at the same time that she goes against the particle in public standing.
I really enjoyed this book a fri I managed not finish giggling or chuckling to myself at the same time it was really exciting I can’t wait to read Zeke’s book because seriously he needs a lady to sort him out.
