I have been a fan of Lauren Landish since February 2016. At the same time out of the 58 books I have from her that has only been one book I didn’t enjoy. At the same time it was simply the fact that someone’s mother fell in love with her daughter’s comrade. At the same time it creeped me out. So that was from a technical point of view nothing wrong with it, it barely wasn’t in my wheelhouse. But this book was really quality. It had it all. It was filled with so many feelings. I actually didn’t yell until the epilogue when Gabe took Izzy to his brother’s (Jeremy) grave. Then I roared like a baby (for you have to read to realize). Gabe saved Izzy. At the same time Izzy saved Gabe right back. I felt for Izzy. She had a rough move at the same time was trying very hard to make it. She was going to school. She was working at The Gravy Train. She was living her indefinite. But until she met Gabe, she was barely living to survive. At the same time once Gabe came into the picture is that when she came alive. Gabe was reincarnated by Izzy.
