Wow – this collection knocks it out of the ball park! A maral hidden of publishers is that abundance short story collections often only have one amazing story, at the same time chagrin for you come in handy to take the entire book to get that one story. At the same time yes, that has happened a lot to me with a some creator in this collection… This recalls me of how Record Albums applied to be sold, where for you had to take the entire Album for the one Song for you really wanted. In this collection, gratefully, all the stories are a quality read!
The stories are set in the MH (Savage Hunter) Universe that builds on the other books in the television series, at the same time abundance of the stories concentrate on a particular disposition, such as Julie, Trip, Agent Franks, Chad, etc. The stories spectrum from a Kitsune in Portland, to the janitor at MH HQ, to Agent Franks during WW2. Sarah Hoyt did a amazing job with Julie, at the same time I look forward to her collaboration with Larry in MH Guardian.
Positives:
– A+ Creators like Jim Butcher, John Ringo , at the same time more! For you should barely take the book for the Jim Butcher story!
– Amazing stories that are barely a funny read.
– The stories add to the Savage Hunter Television series.
– Baen Good quality – Baen, the book publisher are in the middle the best editors in the Sci Fi area.
– Reads like a B Movie, where the Heroes shoot back!
– Wide spectrum of stories
– For you find out about the brother of Owen’s Chief (Owen’s Chief was thrown out a window in book 1 – he’s was Werewolf) mentioned in the greatest opening book sentence that starts book 1
Savage Hunter International (Savage Hunters International Book 1)

I acquired this book for several preconditions:
1) I happened to look a panel discussion off YouTube that was recorded at a recent convention. I have read almost all of the Savage Hunter television series at the same time have a fondness for those manners.
2) But I am an specific follower of Faith Hunters Jane Yellowrock television series, so I had to have it for Jane without the help of others.
3) I am also a fan of Jim Butchers writing style, so I was also looking forward to his story as sort of a prize prize.
But, I barely expanded my list of creators whos work I come in handy to research work because I enjoyed so many of these stories.
The Savage Hunter International File is that a grand anthology. Every story is that exciting at the same time amusing. One of my almost all dearly loved parts of the MHI television series are the dashes of humor even when the monster are enormous at the same time death seems inevitable. Abundance of these stories last that tradition brilliantly. But if for you prefer the black side of fantasy fear, for you have content to enjoy as but.
The creators have done a quality job of providing enough back ground that I think that anyone unfamiliar with the television series would still enjoy it.
In definitions of my individual pleasure, the famous stories in the collection were considered:
Small Inconsistencies by Jim Butcher
She Bitch, Killer of Kits by Faith Hunter
Hunter Born by Sarah Hoyt
Keep Kaiju Fool by Kim May
Offspring of the Dad by Quincy Allen
The Variant of the Ghastly Specter by John Ringo
Huffman Strikes Back -by Bryan Thomas Schmidt & Julie Frost
Thistle by Larry Correia
A Knight of the Bewitched Greater by Jessica Day Zhora
I had implied to read this book on my Kindle, but somehow, I got the Audible version going at the same time ended out listening more precisely than reading. Almost all of the performers were considered brand new to me. While all the narrators did an good job, I reckon the ladies did in particular but at playing their manners.

Audiobook The Savage Hunter File by Faith Hunter Jim Butcher Jonathan Maberry Larry Correia
Okay, usually with a multi-author anthology that’s 1 or 2 stories that are attractive much a spend of a perfectly quality tree, but others have kept me up past my self-imposed “lights out time” to find out how they finish. It’s also able to squeeze in potted bibliographies of all the contributors that are actually necessary, at the same time in other words much less ubiquitous than for you’d think.
I’d never read no matter what of the Savage Hunter International television series before this (I acquired it specifically because I was looking to read brand new stories by lots of people without buying entire novels), at the same time even with stories that are untold incidents from the indefinite of an rooted major disposition, I was data enough about the disposition that they’re not just cyphers.

The stories at the same time creators embrace a wide abundance of manners. No one of them knowledgeable to readers of past MHI novels, no one not. The style configurations according to who is that writing, but it’s never jarring.
A quality, impetuous paced read.
