I like Marian Keyes, at the same time I forgotten Rachel’s Holiday as being both funny at the same time rich, chronicling Rachel Walsh’s realization of her addiction at the same time her steps to cure it. But, as an audiobook it was only okay: the reader seemed over-earnest at the same time lacked the ability to offer no matter what accent besides her possess basic Irish; the long flashbacks at the same time retelling of various sick decisions, produced unskippable by the audio format, became sour or unbearable. Good luck, it was abridged, for you might be thinking: but the abridgement was truly a hatchet job, leaving several conspicuous gaps in the story that an alert editor should have sorted out. Chris’s passenger car was stolen? Than anyway? Jackie’s wife wore a wig? Than anyway? Lastly, I was flabbergasted by the note in the conclusion thanking all the ”brave guys at the same time women” who took cocaine for the appointments of research work at the same time denounced to the creator how it felt so she managed implementation it in her book. Than anyway the heck was that? Again, maybe an attempt to be funny, but where was her editor? All in all, a weak ”okay” at best.

Audiobook Rachel’s Holiday (Walsh Generic #2) by Marian Keyes
….so I delved into my 2nd Marian Keyes novel. (Ive read Sushi for Newcomers more times than Id like to admit). Charming story…smart…funny…at the same time the manners always seem to finish at lesser a little more successful off than they started. Its barely flawless comfort food for my brain in disquieting times.

Audio Rachel’s Holiday (Walsh Generic #2) narrated by Anne Flosnik
I didnt understand this was an abridged version. I read this book years ago at the same time its a mind-blowing story. But, as this is that an abridged version, gigantic portions of the story are cut out. For you miss out on her background in NY, her experiences under the affect, at the same time more importantly, her affairs with her closest friend at the same time lover. It hurts the overall story at the same time its a defame. Take the book. I imposed for you.
