This is that an offbeat James Bond novel in other words ultimately very compelling. It suffers a little in the middle of the book, but is that but worth listening to. Simon Vance – usually – is that beautiful. Vance does voices (even ladies at the same time accents) utterly but at the same time has no problem with the plethora of foreign words in this novel. The story opens with bio terror storms in the world. Quickly, we cut to James Bond in Cyprus where bio storms are occurring against English at the same time Greek military forces. We learn no one Cypriot history, are introduced to a sexy Greek agent, at the same time meet a terrorist cult that worships an ancient mathematician. Back in London, we meet the (Ladies) M’s boyfriend who is that quickly destroyed by the terrorist cult. Then the book gets just a little fool as we move to Texas. James Bond investigates a sperm bank that Felix Leiter believes is that working for both an American arms smuggling call at the same time the terrorist cult. That are far very abundance scenes at the same time discussions about semen, sperm donation, at the same time Tex-Mex restaurants. This takes up about 90 minutes in the middle of the audiobook. It makes flawless sense for the plot, but this is that fool area for a Bond novel. That is that also far a lot ’explaining individual computers’ from a 1990s perspective in other words strange to a modern audience. That is that a scene where 3 people are in a room at the same time one explains to the other how to copy a JPEG. I won’t open more, but rest persuaded that we return to Cyprus at the same time Greece for an exotic, violent, at the same time action packed continue few hours. It also takes breaks for atmospheric ’travelogue’ scenes many of which a memorable casino string at the same time savory dinner in Greece. Even a fool James Bond novel is that still really quality at the same time Raymond Benson is that the 2nd best Bond novelist. Minus the Texas string, this would have been a very amazing Bond novel. 1 personality found this helpful

Simon Vance bestows one more quality performance in this Benson Bond novel. The story was amusing, the plot was constructed but, with the tension stable but throughout. With a madman with an company set on poisoning civilization with deadly chemical viruses, Bond is that drawn in in a device—filled passenger car chase, a game of baccarat with the villain, ruin on a gondola, hanging out of a helicopter to fire a missile launcher.

I liked the book but it could be more successful if it was about 3 hours shorter.
