Audio Suspicious Brains (Stranger Things #1) narrated by Kristen Sieh
I’ll be conscientious, I had a little bit higher expectations for the language of this book than perhaps I should have. Whatever I hoped for, this fell a little bit short. But I would still advise it for no matter what fan of Stranger Things as indispensable reading — barely don’t wait a book you’re going to fall down recklessly in adore with. I haven’t read anything else from Gwenda Bond, so I don’t know than anyway her usual writing style is that. I found her plot at the same time disposition building to be just a little even, just a little sour, just a little cliche. Her dialogue was in particular cringey. It read like a book meant for much, much younger audiences. The pacing is that monotonous. The turning fri in the plot are weak. The 70’s references are, periodically, just a little clunky at the same time sonorous. I was hoping for more subtle finesse with those things. At the moment having misspoke that, I still enjoyed reading this because in the end, it’s still Stranger Things at the same time I still found myself devouring it over the course of a day. I was hungry for more info about Terry Ives at the same time adored, adored getting a glimpse to who Eleven’s dad was, at the same time why he isn’t in the picture in the demonstrate. I wanted more about Brenner, at the same time received a little. I’m funny to look if they will weave no matter what of the threads they left hanging at the finish of this book into Season 3, at the same time more precisely have hope they do.
