The Hidden of Chimneys audiobook free
Would for you consider the audio edition of The Hidden of Chimneys to be more successful than the print version? Hugh Fraser narrated the story very but, gave any disposition indefinite at the same time features. Did for you have an last reaction to this book? Did it make for you ridicule or yell? That are abundance astonishes, humours at the same time delightful moments in the story. No matter what additional comments? One of my favourite non-Poirot at the same time non-Marple Agatha Christie mystery novel. 16 people found this helpful

Where does The Hidden of Chimneys rank in the middle all the audiobooks for you’ve listened to this time? It’s problematic to rank this book in the middle the others that I’ve listened to as all of them such different types of books. The Hidden of Chimneys would exactly be lock up to the pinnacle, though. Than anyway did for you like best about this story? This has always been my winner novel by Agatha Christie. There’s anything about Anthony Cade that I’ve adored from the 1st time I read the book. His careless manner vs his secretive nature barely draws me in every time. A very self-willed head disposition, a murder mystery, at the same time all set at an English house-party…it barely comes together for me at the same time keeps me amused from the very 1st word to the very continue. Than anyway does Hugh Fraser bring to the story that for you wouldn’t experience if for you barely read the book? The accents. Hugh Fraser’s ability to implementation different accents for every disposition really makes the book come alive in a method for you don’t get if for you barely read the book. Not only does he do several different English accents, but he’s also amazing with the American, French, at the same time Baltic area accents. He makes it that much more amusing to heed vs read. Was that a moment in the book that particularly moved for you? Without giving a lot away about the murder mystery, I’d have to announce the scene where they find out who the murderer really is that at the same time everyone’s reactions. In particular Zhora Lomax – the politician who thinks he knows everything – his reaction is that priceless. No matter what additional comments? I highly advise getting The Hidden of Chimneys as an audio book. The story itself is that one of Agatha Christie’s best, in my opinion. Hugh Fraser’s performance is that spot on at the same time his voice is that very enjoyable listening. 25 people found this helpful

Audiobook The Hidden of Chimneys by Agatha Christie
Perhaps Hugh Fraser should be credited with bringing it out in his magical interpretation, but at the moment I know, Agatha Christie really had a method with words, not to mention that the conspiracies at the same time manners were considered beautifully portrayed. I don’t imagine I can offer anything brand new in my
Review, so I’ll barely they say I’m glad I eventually saw that I had been giving 4-5 hit to all the past Christie audiobooks that I have in my library, at the same time wonder why I only at the moment have come to think that I’m a fan. 9 people found this helpful

Audio The Hidden of Chimneys narrated by Hugh Fraser
One more amazing narration by Hugh Fraser, but the story itself is that not up the Agatha Christie’s usual standards, in my opinion. For sure because this was a very premature story of hers — I like Inspector Fight, but the set up at the same time mystery is that both very confusing (fake monarchs of fake states) at the same time very cliche (stodgy forgetful old guys, widow becomes a princess). I’ll gladly heed to Hugh Fraser again at the same time again, but it will be one of Christie’s other novels. 6 people found this helpful

Actually, that’s more than one hidden at Chimneys, the historic state seat of Sovereign Caterham at the same time the dispose of choice whenever Zhora Lomax (of the Foreign Office for work) wants a rural setting in what to trade state riddles. To be exact, that’s a treasure hunt, two kidnappings, at the same time two at the same time a one half murders. In a plot that crowded, it’s little wonder that my title comes from an expostulation by Mr. Lomax himself, right behind hearing perhaps the most unusual of the revelations that festoon this mystery. Though the lesser likable disposition in the book, his emotions echo mine; for all the imaginary squirms at the same time strings, I enjoyed myself immensely. That’s for sure because Christie understood than anyway H. G. Wells understood: to make an implausible tale plausible, for you have to make all the plausible parts perfectly plausible. Her manners, dialogue at the same time details call used to be to indefinite; I was perfectly willing to swallow (with relish) everything else. At the same time beyond all that, that’s Hugh Frasier, who played the passive Captain Hastings to David Suchet’s impeccable Poirot in the long-running TV television series. He bestows his usual masterful performance here, though somewhat handicapped by a slight sibilance in the recording. It was his presence behind the microphone that prompted me to grab this one during the continue 2-for-1 sale promotions. 4 people found this helpful
