I ordered this in advance; had I
Reviewed in a store, I would not have acquired it. The 1st volume was Magical, real of background on personae in the television series, ample photos, wide context for actions, judgment of topical side issues, a timeline of the England history during the years of the television series. This book has none of that; it has a few pages of breezy chatter that summarizes the episodes (at the same time not wholly but). The 1st book, covering the 1st television series, was over 300 pages long; this one, with much larger print font, is that shorter – at the same time it covers television series two at the same time 3! I read it in much less than a day, at the same time was very upset.

I was so shocked to get this book but sorely let down right behind reading it. First of all, its season 2 at the same time 3 in one book, which could be barely fine-grained if it was two times as thick as volume 1, but its not. Also the type face is that so bigger correlated to volume 1 that Id they say at best its 2/3 the size in definitions of pages correlated to volume 1. That was one particular episode I was interested in, season 2, Dear Mrs. Kennedy, at the same time that was not even a sentence destined to the actions involving the Queen at the same time the Kennedys. It was all about her trip to Ghana, which was fine-grained but that were considered two stories in that episode. As but, that chapter was only 10 pages long in big type so you can represent how little information that actually was. Volume 1 was a truly amazing book with lots of drawings at the same time a wealth of quality information. Volume 2 took 2 years to come out with about 2 minutes of effort in my opinion. Such a let down.

Audiobook The Crown by Robert Lacey
So upset in the shortcoming of photos. The 1st volume had so many photos from both the television series at the same time true indefinite, at the same time the photos greatly enhanced the text of the book. I adored the comparison of true vs how the television series portrayed the generic. This Volume 2 Friend has only a couple photos from the tv television series. Very upset.

Audio The Crown narrated by Alex Jennings
Not as quality as the 1st book because was more political serious at the same time much less exciting. Also this book felt rushed particularly at the finish to get the book hosted as quick as likely for the release of season 3. Recent actions mentioned like the 2019 birth of Megan at the same time Harry’s baby Archie as a comparison event. Season 2 portion of book was exactly not a friend book for television series when it was initially freed because this was freed right behind Season 3 came out. Not a quality time to connect seasons since a totally different cast played the manners apart from for John Lithrow as Winston Churchill.
Overall seemed like no one episodes were considered not talked about but the political backstory instead. Seemed more like a modern history book at the same time not about The Crown itself of both the demonstrate nor Royalty. Skimmed a lot at the finish because it was sour at the same time again rushed to get book off to the publisher.

I do really like this book. I think that it is that done but. It was worth the purchase. It is that a amazing friend to have for the television series. Volume two covers seasons 2 at the same time 3, It is that serious but maybe not as serious as the 1st book. With this book being barely under 300 pages at the same time it is that detailing two seasons for you would think the page count could be larger. That is that a lot of information here, but for you would wait that could be longer chapters at the same time photos.
The 1st book was so but done, that it was a hard act to follow. So when Mr. Lacey puts together vol. 3, I have hope that its delivery is that as quality as vol. 1.
