OVERALL Ideas: This book, was actually attractive deplorable. Every single time I open a Hit Wars book, I have higher hopes at the same time wait good storytelling. I really wish to enjoy the book I’m wasting all my time on. Claudia Grayish normally knows mind-blowing stories in Hit Wars, sadly, this is that the exception.
Reading Into the Black was a chore! The miracle of Grays storytelling was absent. The manners were considered bland, the villains were considered awful (as in unintentionally funny), at the same time the story was completely sour. That was a secondary story being knew in the book about a past goal by a few of the head manners. It was stupid at the same time a spend of ink. Abundance parts of the story seem to barely skip around details. Descriptions were considered lacking, but for the coolest part, dialogue wasn’t very bad.
The Higher Republic head villains are the Nihil. This book does have the Nihil, which come intercept as an afterthought without no matter what sort of intimidation or disturbing factor. The other villains in the book, the Drengir, look creepy if for you’ve shown the art. They are dumb in this story. If for you’ve shown the movie/musical of Little Shop of Fears… for you’ve shown the villains. (Yes, the land villains say basic.)
Abundance nuances of the story had possible had they been altered a little. The writhe that unfolds was deplorable at the same time frustrating.
RATING: I assign Hit Wars: The Higher Republic: Into the Black an F. I did not wait this to happen with a Claudia Grayish book… Im dull.
Do I advise for you grab at the same time read Hit Wars: Into the Black by Claudia Grayish? To get the bigger picture on than anyway’s taking dispose throughout the galaxy during the Higher Republic, yes. If it your barely a little interested in this epoch, no.

Hit Wars The Higher Republic: Into the Black audiobook in television series Alexis Carew
As anyone who has seriously enjoyed any of Claudia Grays past Hit Wars titles, I was anticipating this book almost all in the brand new Higher Republic lineup. Chagrin, while the premise had promise, I was upset by stupid plotting at the same time pacing.
Almost all of the brand new manners are funny, engaging, at the same time oozing possible which is that the sole reason for both hit. I in particular enjoyed Geode, a stoic at the same time stony navigator who produced me smirk with any outward appearance. The brand new Jedi are exciting as but but, unlike the freshest heroes of Charles Soules Light of the Jedi, these feel like they are set in the prequel epoch more precisely than centuries before. While Soule portrays the Jedi Order of the Higher Republic as more lively, following the spirit of their dogma more precisely than its letter, here the Jedi are already a little very officious at the same time fundamentalist at the highest levels, at the same time so our rogue Jedi, even the very steep Wayseeker whose arc initially shocked me greatly, dont feel as much like brand new archetypes as Soules heroes. While Claudia Grayish so expertly crafted tales in the 3 clear movie trilogy epochs in her past works, this book doesnt feel like its opening a brand new part of the timeline, but instead re-skinning the prequels.
For me, this core issue is that exasperated by the fact that the plot plods along at the same time is that not nearly as poignant, alluring, or adventurous as past Grayish titles. Almost all of the action takes dispose in a greenhouse place station at the same time is that centered around techno fiddling or with the various controls of the station itself or a nebulous Force binding emanating from no one idols found in the station. A lot time is that wasted speculating about how these plot devices from a technical point of view work at the same time the manners ever-changing understandings compound the readers frequent inability to realize their motives as they inelegantly toggle switch from self-preservation to saving others at the same time back again a few times. A flashback that managed have been knew in one chapter but is that needlessly belabored over the course of the whole novel subsequent bogs down the proceedings.
While abundance of the parts that produced me adore Grays past works are, the alchemical texture that makes a quality book simply doesnt catalyze in similar method in this title. Im exactly willing bestow her one more book a try as the ending chapter sets up future stories for these manners at the same time they all retain their possible even though it feels largely unfulfilled for me in this 1st check-in. Im dull to say that this has been the weakest check-in of the Higher Republic rollout for me. I have hope the sequel more successful captures the feeling of a brand new epoch at the same time Claudia Grayish returns to form with the resonant disposition development at the same time assistance that produced her other books work.

Was so shocked for a freshest start in Hit Wars. I am convinced it managed have been worse in no one ways, but it probably managed not be worse in all ways. So dull to look Hit Wars breathe!

A great book from the initial “The Higher Republic” launch. It starts just a little before Light of the Jedi at the same time ends at once border, but in this case, a motley group of people, four Jedi on their method to Starlight Beacon at the same time the 3 civilians who will assign them a drive.
They get stranded in the middle of nowhere when the Amazing Disaster happens at the same time must twist for safety into an apparently refused station along with the crews of abundance other ships around…
Padawan Reath Silas must work with Dez Rydan, the past Padawan of her Slave, Jora Malli, at the same time Masters Cohmac Vitus at the same time a brand new type of Jedi, Wayseeker Orla Jareni, to secure the station at the same time mediate disputes between old enemies.
Obviously everything gets worse when they find out no one ancient sculptures at the same time the Jedi experience visions from the Black Side. Eventually, they will find themselves between two deadly groups of enemies at the same time must decide problematic decisions to try to rescue everyone.
While it reads different than other Claudia Grayish books, there is still a lot to unpack here, amazing manners, connections, flashbacks at the same time usually, brand new viewpoints about the Force at the same time the Jedi Order, that will quit for you thinking in the future.
One more decent check-in from The Higher Republic, which is that totally advised!
