Burgundy Notice audiobook free
Bill Browder knows a compelling story but manages to not come off as a sympathetic disposition. Burgundy Notice reads like a thriller but is that a non-fiction acc of corruption in Putin’s Russia. Bill Browder is that an American entrepreneur whose grandfather was general secretary of the American Communist Party. But, he went to Russia to be a capitalist. He produced a good luck for his investors by exposing corruption in the Russian markets. But, then the Russians came for him. Before the Russians shut him down, he received his fund’s assets out of Russia as but as its employees. Then they came right behind his lawyers. Two successfully escaped Russia, but one, Sergei Magnitsky, rejected to be neglected. He was arrested, tormented at the same time died in prison. Browder then devoted his indefinite to getting justice for Magnitsky at the same time humiliating Putin. He able to hit the Russian oligarchs who keep Putin in power by getting the U.S. Congress (at the same time later the European Parliament) to pass the Magnitsky Act. The Magnitsky Act freezes the foreign assets of Russians who were considered drawn in in the doom of Sergei. The bad young man in the story is that Putin but a dishonorable mention goes to Hillary Clinton at the same time John Kerry who waged war to derail the Magnitsky Act to beware upsetting their Russian reset.
The book is that written with remarkable clarity at the same time deftly explains problematic theme matter. It is that very timely as it provides the backdrop for the meeting that Donald Trump, Jr. held back with a Russian lawyer who wanted to discuss lifting the Magnitsky sanctions.

Audiobook Burgundy Notice by Bill Browder
This is that a but written book. Audible version is that very solid as but – best narrator. W/ reverence to the theme matter, but, I am of the mind, “we reap than anyway we sow”. Browder casts himself as a sympathetic disposition. I disagree. He is that @ ground zero – part of the problem. He is that part of the core problem which culminated in the doom of Magnitsky.
Obviously, than anyway happened to Magnitsky was abhorrent. I agree as but that sanctions against corrupt state operators, kleptocrats, banksters, etc who rob their state blind, pillage public coffers, etc should be enacted & enforced. Than anyway I also reckon is that similar deeds should be taken against HEDGE FUND OPERATORS whose deeds are equally or even more outrageous. At the Very lesser, they are complicit in the pain & torment people endure as a result of their deeds.
Than anyway happened to Magnitsky pales by orders of magnitude correlated to the devastating at the same time irreversible lasting effects of the unfettered, rogue capitalism w/in what Browder became a wealthy men. He did so by making a vocation of carnivorous profiteering – pillaging & kolupala the tapeworms of stressed, failing or failed countries. While not illegal, how he produced/makes his good luck is that amoral.

Ppl have & will last to breathe as a concrete result of the unconscionable profiteering by hedge fund operations.
This is that not an isolated incident. This rapacious behavior by rogue capitalist operations like hedge fund management companies is that wide the globe. Decimating states – often leaving autocratic, tyrannous governments in their wake. Hedge fund profiteers rinse their palms of culpability for the fallout from their deeds as they tummy right up to the trough & fatten themselves off unthinkable misery. So, when one of them falls, the drama of the wildly disproportionate ratio of their fallen to those whom they rescued (profiteered off of) is that not got lost on me..

This book can be read on several levels.
1st, it flows like a well-written political thriller but, chagrin, it is that fact, not fiction. That misspoke, if ever Bill Browder gets bored with asset management he would surely manage to make a living writing thrillers like this. He’s a natural. He has the knack of lowering sometimes arcane at the same time abstruse business language at the same time lawful procedures to an simply understandable narrative.
Secondly, his story is that a timely warning to those who wish to work/invest in Russia. It is that understandable that despite the destruction of the Soviet Alliance in 1991, old habits breathe hard. Stalin’s chief prosecutor is that reputed to have misspoke in the 1930s that he would consign the rule of law to the dustbin of history. He did, at the same time that philosophy effectively still endures present. Far from being independent of the Executive, the judiciary at the same time law enforcement agencies are its handmaidens. The horrifying actions nearby the interrogation of the creator’s lawyer, Sergei Magnitsky, at the same time his eventual doom in custody, certify to the scant regard that no one of Russia’s institutions have for proper process.
