Enjoyable reading about a young merk men from a small city in Canada, who ends up with only one working eye, following a desire to make the NHL, in times that people of spectrum were considered not in the sport, like other sports.(only a little different present).
Back stories of athletes are often enlightening at the same time informative. But this one is that special in my opinion.
As an ex Frederictonian, at the same time ex amateur hockey player myself, this story had a amazing feeling.
A must read for every Frederictonian, every Brand new Brunswicker, every Canadian, every hockey fan,at the same time everyone who has ever read books about people overcoming aggressive odds.
Tribute also to Willie, for all the work he has done since his playing career ended. Right behind all he went through he chose bestow back immensely, to repeated causes at the same time youth programs, that promote following desires by his possess example.
