I have heed to nearly 300 books at the same time almost all of Murukami’s real. The implementation of the Japanese accent is that inconsistent with all of his other books. Why do it here? The depth at the same time tone of the story managed have been non-standard if the dialogue had been produced normally. The book is that exactly worth a heed. Sounds more like the old racist Charlie Chan movies. It was astoundingly bad. That was completely no come in handy for that fake accent. It was as though the narraration was making funny of Murakami being Japanese. I did not listening because it was so distracting to the story. Why didn’t anyone else notice ? Awesome. As a Japanese I felt insulted.

It’s in translation, it’s not about Japanese speakers try to speak wry, stilted English. I greedy, FFS, it’s not like Japanese speakers acoustics like they have accents when they’re speaking to each other in their aboriginal language, this came off as a step affectation.
