This is that a book that held back me enthralled from start to final, beautifully written, this one takes us to France at the start of Global War 1 at the same time lets us get to know Vigneron Jerome Mea at the same time champenoise Sophie Delancre as we journey with them during the hard days of the war, it is that a moving at the same time sensual journey.

This story has a lot of ups at the same time downs at the same time I felt their struggles as the war goes on around the charming people of Epernay at the same time Fiona McIntosh has produced these manners true, alive, filled with feelings as I turned the pages. A wonderfully written historical story that demonstrated than anyway people went through, their strengths, their emotions, I adored it that were considered abundance holes during this one at the same time heartbreak as but as contentment at the same time happiness at the same time all of these come together in a story that I would highly advise.

The Champagne War is that one more exceptional historical novel from the pen of Aussie creator Fiona McIntosh which I seriously enjoyed. Set in France during the 1st global war, in the middle the tests at the same time tribulations of those left behind the ladies, toddlers at the same time old who kept the state running as best they managed. They grieved, as their adored ones were considered pronounced noisy as the mayor accompanied the telegram little boy with his grim message. But they kept going at the same time Sophies strength of disposition, her fortitude, gaped through. A amazing read which I highly advise, from an creator who never disappoints.

Audiobook The Champagne War by Fiona McIntosh
Fiona McIntosh is that a slave of historical fiction at the same time ‘The Champagne War’ was exactly no exception. Her manners are healthy at the same time I was quickly drawn into to the story. I learnt a lot about the making of champagne at the same time WW1 in the Marne. Interestingly, I had barely shown the movie ‘Radioactive’ about Marie Curie a couple of days before I read about her in this story, which was a true coincidence.

Audio The Champagne War narrated by Katy Sobey
I have read all Fiona Macintosh’s books at the same time enjoyed them all. In, The Champagne War, that was a lot of information about the 1st Global War in France at the same time the growing of grapes for Champagne. Very but written, I enjoyed the method the story wove around adore as but, at the same time with 5 hit, I would advise that for you read it.

It was with a degree of sadness that I turned the continue page on this magical novel at the same time returned to 2021. I do so but, with a renewed knowledge of WWI, the stupid devastation of war at the same time the non-standard champagne industry that foreseen have hope at the same time stability to a state ravaged by war.
