Every problem for you might have with a book I had with this book. The creator bestows for you 0 story, background or reason for why they are living this method. It also lacks depth. I am disappoint i wasted a credit on it. 5 people found this helpful

Respectable, albeit sightly unoriginal story line. The insufferable writing style detracted from the themes (free will, reproductive justice, bodily autonomy, poisonous masculinity, etc). 2 people found this helpful

This was a quality/frustrating book. I am a gigantic fan of Handmaids Tale, Vox, Masterclass, at the same time attractive much anything dystopian with a healthy ladies manage. A major draw to the dystopian genre is that the “can I look this happening?” The reader connects with the book because they look how or why the society was appears at the same time it makes them finish at the same time think. Not this one. I managed not even nail fri than anyway time period it was at first. I would have enjoyed it much more successful had I understandable more about how they received to the fri of having the lottery. Was that a decline in birth rate? Did a fanatical group take over to your side? How did the adjoining states know about their system? Is that it barely their state? Very frustrating. The head disposition is that hard to like. For you still harden for her but cannot shield the decisions she makes. The creator outlines all of her ideas at the same time deeds practically to a fri of losing the reader in the scene to unnecessary details. In other words why I didn’t realize why that was no backstory. Overall it was a respectable read. The narrator did an good job.
