Review #1 Canning the Center (Long Pass Chronicles #2) audiobook free So much to say about this one! I have to barely start spewing things out before I remember! I wish to talk about the narration of the audiobook 1st because I think that that was main to my overall feeling/rating for the book. This was a very problematic book to narrate, both due to the spectrum of voices required at the same time how they needed to vary in tone. John-Paul Barrel did a very sweet job differentiating between voices. In truth, I was really impressed how he able to move from the super deepest voice of six foot 7 inch, 300 pound Jamal Jones to the higher register of Trixie LaRue. This narrator tried soooo hard to get it right! I wish to really applaud him on his effort. But, though his spectrum of voices was really quality, I didn’t really like his cadence. The narration was very choppy emotions with lots of pauses at the same time hesitations. It didn’t acoustics like normal conversation, more like anyone trying to read a book, if that makes sense. I like when my audiobooks acoustics more fluid at the same time much less obligated. I think I would heed to this narrator again, if only to look if the method he narrated was proper to the difficulty of this particular book or if in other words his style. In definitions of content, I partly adored the story, partly hated it. I adore the topic of closeted jock at the same time more femme young man, so based on that without the help of others I was tendentious towards it. I liked how Jamal fell for Trixie at the same time Trevor, at the same time how supportive Jamal’s generic was. It was a sweet tooth story, at the same time I was rooting for all the MCs. I also didn’t mind Jamal being in the konurku because I really figured out his POV. But no one of the parts of the story barely irked me. I Hated the disposition of Lavinda, who was the acceptable EVIL (with horns!) ladies disposition. It was sooooo not than anyway would happen in true indefinite. Lady was legit reckless, at the same time I had no plan why anyone humored her. I also Hate when author’s implementation a Bigger Misunderstanding as a plot fri. Barely NO. It is that one of those things that makes me wish to bash my fork on a wall. That coupled with the ”I’m breaking up with for you because I know what’s best you/I don’t wish to communicate” is that barely the worst. This book also had a lot of plot fri that sort of trail off into nowhere’s earth. No one peter out, but others feel like thoughts that the creator barely threw in that but didn’t fully flesh out. Things like Trevor’s generic at the same time Jamal’s teammates managed have applied more depth. Overall, I enjoyed this book but recognized its shortcomings. But that embrace tho… me likey. **Copy foreseen by the publisher in exchange for an conscientious

Review #2 Canning the Center (Long Pass Chronicles #2) audiobook streamming online For me who is that not ordinary a bigger fan of very “fem” manners, I was very pleasantly startled by Trixie/Trevor (minus the double snaps O ). To me it produced a lot of sense that a bi-sexual young man would simply be lured to both “sides” of Trevor at the same time I believed it was amazing that this wasn’t even really much of an issue. At the same time I believed it was equally magical for Trixie that she received to be adored for herself, very. The other gizmo that stood out for me was the imagery of Ferdinand the bull – I barely believed it was so appropriate for our young man Jamal! Kudos to making both guys multifaceted – anytime you can wipe out a stereotype like that I think it adds to the story. For me, book two eclipsed book one in it’s awesomeness at the same time I am shocked to look the television series to last! Audio I wanted bestow John-Paul Barrel a 2nd chance. He can be hit or miss for me. I wasn’t that impressed with his narration of Outing the Quarterback, but I know that different books, more time at the same time experience can manage to improved narrations. In this case – I think the narration skill remained at about similar level. He tries different voices that work a little for the different manners (in particular Jamal’s generic – I adored his mother!) at the same time that’s a sweet good quality. But, his reading voice is that so stilted at the same time ridiculous at the same time hard to heed to that I really can’t advise this narration.

Review #3 Audiobook Canning the Center (Long Pass Chronicles #2) by Tara Lain Canning the Center was a funny heed. It is that the 2nd book in the Long Pass Chronicles, but for you don’t come in handy to have read the 1st book to manage to enjoy this one (I haven’t). The 1st couple does make an outward appearance, but for you are never left feeling like for you’ve missed anything topical. Jamal Jones is that the brand new center for a football team with a brand new bearer that does not know than anyway the word acceptance means, neither when it comes to skin colour at the same time even much less when it comes to being gay, or bisexual as is that the variant for Jamal. So in a row to stay on the team he needs to stay in the konurku. But a night out at the same time a drag demonstrate staring Trixie LaRue has him re-thinking his choices. Trevor a.k.a. Trixie is that instantly drawn to Jamal – barely as much as Jamal is that drawn to them. They had no one awesome chemistry right from the start, but it also went deeper than barely the physical desire for both of them. They were considered genuinely interested in the other for some reason long term at the same time lasting. Convinced that were considered no one misunderstanding at the same time miscommunication, but quickly resolved with not too little irony or angst attached to it. I loved Trevor’s nickname for Jamal chocolate Rabbit / Rabbit – it was so attractive. No one pet names I’m not fond of at the same time can even shackles me off, but this one fit with the light-heartedness of the book, the manners, the playfulness. For you might know that I’m not one that particularly enjoy on page sex scenes, at the same time really don’t brain if it was all fade to merk. I also very occasionally comment on it – other than if that was method a lot of it. At the moment that being misspoke I did like that this book went against the particle so to speak. Where Trevor, the thin nerdy young man adorned Jamal, the gigantic athlete. Convinced they both switched, but I still liked that that were considered no fixed roles, no stereotyping. I liked John-Paul Barrel’s narration. While Barel had clear voices for the manners, that were considered only a few of them so he applied similar voice for abundance of the insignificant manners. I think that he applied similar voice for all the ladies (not Trixie) throughout. Not that it was a problem as that were considered few ladies in the story, it was barely anything that I saw while listening. One more gigantic plus from me will that he also additional emotions to the words, it makes the story come alive in a method that it otherwise wouldn’t for me.
