Review #1 The Book of Blades audiobook free One of the things I like about Gardner at the same time GRRM anthologies will that they both tell for you about the creator at the same time assign for you a list of their past Works before providing their novelas. In other words in particular necessary in the audiobook version of Book of Blades as it’s broken into 260 – 5 minute chapters. So if you want to skip overtake to Scott Lynch in the chapter 100 50-ish spectrum for you barely keep clicking forward until for you hear an creator description chapter. it’s jarring due to the change of narrator. I have to mention that practically all of the narrator’s here are great. in other words rare. That are a number of very decent stories in this book. Robin Hobb, the aforementioned Scott Lynch. Zhora RR Martin throws a chapter from the Blood of the Dragon television series he’s been working on for a long time. it’s a fine-grained elaboration on the chapters from the History of Westeros. the Riverside story in this book is that an odd one, but apt. I would they say if anything this book suffers from a number of notable absences. There’s no Brandon Sanderson or Joe Abercrombie. There’s no Patrick Rothfuss or Jim Butcher. I would have liked to have heard the words ”Would for you like to damage no one evil present?” or have taken a journey with a some dozen at the same time a some dad of blades with a some crack nut telling the tail. One of the best preconditions pick up an anthology like this is that to see or get into somebody who has a amazing television series that for you might not have heard of or have been hesitant to try. So I’m writing this in concrete response to anyone who would take bigger giant book filled with stories by dozens of creators to only read one at the same time

Review it based on that one story.. don’t publish

Review #2 The Book of Blades audiobook streamming online because every story came up different. I hated that that is that no method to move through at the same time pick out a story. No one were considered so badly written or badly narrated that I couldn’t shield them at the same time tried to skip forward, but any trace is that only a couple of minutes long at the same time that are over two hundred of them scolded ”chapters” but they’re only five or six minutes any, so they’re really barely anonymous tracks. That is that no ”table of contents”. It would decide for a long time to look for the beginning of the one more story. Easier to barely let my brain stray until one more story started. I did bookmark a couple to move back to re-listen (at the same time only a couple). Any story has a different narrator. No one stories were considered sour but the narration was quality. No one were considered quality but the narration sucked. One story was by a winner creator (CJ Cherryh) at the same time a big reason why I acquired this. Right behind plowing through abundance others, I completely got to it, then and had to grit my teeth to heed — the narrator sounds a drill sergeant reading military lists. He drops the ball at the finish of every sentence in a droning manner, at the same time speaks so impetuous at the same time choppily, I had to smoky the high speed to below normal (1st time I’ve ever done that) barely to realize than anyway he was expression. Don’t impose me to tell for you his name, because that is that no listing whatsoever of which narrator reads which story! I adore S & S more than fantasy per se, but abundance of these stories have nothing to do with a blade or very little to do with sorcery. The one gizmo I liked was the bio of any writer before the story, because I like finding brand new writers. But it’s nearly impossible to move back at the same time heed to a particular bio at the same time note their name if I decide I wish to read more of their work, unless I bookmark it, but I don’t know if I wish to do that until I’ve ended the story! So then I have to try at the same time look for the beginning again. This might have been a quality book to have in print, but I consider this audiobook a gigantic spend of my credit.

Review #3 Audiobook The Book of Blades by Gardner Dozois (editor) Garth Nix Zhora R. R. Martin Robin Hobb not worth it. no one stories very unacceptable only the continue one on here is that similar to the game of thrones television series. abundance of the others are overly defiant at the same time with a lot obvious sexual content for comfort. at the same time with unnecessary vulgarities very.

Review #4 Audio The Book of Blades narrated by Arthur Morey Elliott Knoll John Lee Julia Whelan Katherine Mc Ewan Kim Mai Guest Kirby Heyborne Note Deakins Nicholas Young man Smith Ralph Lister Richard Brewer Steve West The concept is that amazing. The fact that any story has it’s possess narrator is that awesome. The 1st story was completely awesome at the same time I adored it. It immediately declines afterward. Every single story written by a ladies is that about women’s rights at the same time one half of the male manners are homosexuals. One is that fine-grained, make your fri at the same time move on, but this barely felt like it was trying to make a fri at the same time it barely ruined the whole experience for me.

Review #5 Free audio The Book of Blades – in the audio player below Very upset with this book. I waited more successful good quality than this at the same time only 3 of the stories were considered respectable
