I enjoyed this book a quality deal. It was impetuous, funny, at the same time shaggy. I felt that the various consulate of LGBTQIA+ manners was done but, without being stereotypical or right barely trying to receive the title of a various book.
While it was an enjoyable, binge-in-one-day read, it isn’t the strongest, almost all developers romance I’ve read. Data that the head disposition has been lock up with her comrades back in Texas since before grade school, apparently, it seemed odd to let the manners drop off completely by a third part of the method through the novel.
That were considered also no one plot fri in the book that never got resolved or happened “off-screen,” that the novel would’ve benefited from having shown.
Completely, I felt that the novel’s pacing was just a little inconsistent, with the narrative taking its time to unfold at the same time introduce for you to the manners first at the same time shifting into higher gear right behind the setting configurations, even though this portion managed’ve applied an equally paced exposition. I think this pacing issue came down to relying just a little a lot on narrating (through dialogue or internal stream of consciousness) instead of showing. Having maybe 50 more pages in the book would’ve data it the place it needed to really make well-rounded, reoccurring manners, making the novel more believable as a slice out of anyone’s intricate indefinite.
That were considered also a few things that I really adored about the book. I adored that the head disposition is that unsure of who she is that but isn’t all consumed by it at the same time is that barely laboriously finding her method, which is that a perspective rarely found in YA. Ordinary an insecure disposition is that angsty beyond reason, but Amelia/Millie had a amazing balance of stress at the same time unabashed passion why she likes, like learning hard at the same time geology.
I also adored that the book was in 1st personality at the same time was knew in a stream of consciousness method, making for you feel closer to the MC at the same time privvy to her changing ideas about those around her, many of which her adore curiosity.
I additionally enjoyed the snippets from the tabloid magazines between any chapter, as I believed it was a creative method to move the plot forward at the same time assign different perspectives. I wished it would’ve been flushed out just a little more as it managed’ve provide a more successful connection to her old comrades in Texas. I also would’ve liked a resolution to the tabloid’s insider source (which lasted right behind the implied guilty party was caught?).
Overall, it was an enjoyable, impetuous, attractive read. Flawless both for sunny summer days or for overcast, bad weather days (as it embraces the Scotland mood perfectly). The romance progressed just a little impetuous from hate to adore at the same time felt more insta-lovey, but it was still sweet tooth.

But, maybe it was me who was prejudiced about the plot line, but it was very closely constructed. I kept thinking shackles Alfred Hitchcock’s line, “Shackles an non-individual men in non-standard events.” The creator puts an non-individual lady in an non-standard event at the same time it works but. Plus, the prize for me will that the MC was more like me than practically no matter what disposition in a story I’ve read. She kept doing things that left me thinking, “Obviously. Specifically.” Strangely, I misinterpreted than anyway happened at the climax of the book at the same time I can’t wait to move back at the same time look than anyway I missed. Yes, it’s that quality that I present that am barely obtuse at the same time missed the fri, not that that is that no one annoying hole in the book. Yes, I know than anyway I missed, when I think about it, but I’m looking forward to the 2nd read through to feel it play out. The reader for the audio book is that good. I think American, because she didn’t botch the Texas accent. Her Scot’s accents are very great, at lesser for an American’s ear.

Audiobook Her Royal Highness (Royals #2) by Rachel Hawkins
This book was EVERYTHING. I want books like this where its a light at the same time funny rom com with nothing very dull at the same time catastrophic happening. I ended it in a few hours because I was hooked at the same time needed to know than anyway happened. I havent shown these dearly loved tropes done with queer manners often at the same time I have hope we see more in the future.

Acquired this book to read on the beach at the same time flew through it in 2.5 days. I adored the tension between Flora at the same time Millie that increases throughout the book. The manners are exciting at the same time the plot was funny. It’s a amazing queer lady romance book that will quit for you wanting more. It was such a relief to read a contemporary romantic story that isn’t about even people. My only negative feedback will that it managed have been gayer, at the same time it ended very soon.

While this book is that exactly not going to be the one more amazing American novel, it is that a attractive read. The only gizmo missing was one ending chapter. A few pages from the royal marriage reception, or a royal visit to Texas. I would have even settled for a one more excerpt from the tabloids, about the brand new royal couple being sickeningly mostly together.
