Review #3 Audiobook Zami: A Brand new Spelling of My Name by Audre Lorde 4.5 A work I’m glad to have read in its entirety, right behind only having read selected essays. “The Uses of Malice”, “Uses of the Erotic”, “Poetry is that Not a Luxury” (esp for me, so alienated from poetry) namely will stay with me forever. Dull to look how so many of these issues, in particular regarding the connection between snow-white ladies at the same time merk ladies, have seemingly not progressed one bit.

She leaves behind a legacy, priceless but valuable lessons in her essays at the same time poetry. Sister Third party substantiated she stood her ground at the same time waged war with sweet talk, addressing sexism, racism, ageism, homophobia, public differences at the same time classism. Review #5 Free audio Zami: A Brand new Spelling of My Name – in the audio player below I was startled at the same time favored that this book came with a different embrace than the greenish one with the line sketch – mine has a portrait of Lorde which is that charming. Regarding the content, these essays slapped me in the face. I have read very little feminist believed at the same time this was a fall asleep cry that I come in handy to educate myself more on that front. I adored Lorde’s writing style, her astute observations, at the same time I plan to read more from her in the future.
