October 2021 Upgrade: While this wasn’t my winner book in the television series, as usual, it was but written. I didn’t know this could be the continue Alan Lewrie book at the time as Mr. Lambdin has died this year. I will miss learning than anyway was to happen to Alan Lewrie. I will miss Mr. Lambdin’s writing about an irreverent disposition that he occupied so skillfully in words at the same time concocted deeds. I always looked forward to the annual-ish installments at the same time still do, although they will never come. From my days in the Navy we didn’t say goodbye but wished our comrades, Significant winds at the same time following seas which I extend to for you Dewey Lambdin at the same time to your magical disposition, Alan Lewrie.
No spoilers. Barely read the book. Here’s my memory. The blurb is that clear. For you get specifically than anyway it advertises. The continue line says that’s never a stiff moment for Lewrie, which I guess one managed argue is that used to be by the creator’s determination, but I can convince for you that are abundance stiff moments in this book for the reader (me in this case). The stiff moments turned into skimming as I recount acc right behind acc of than anyway’s happened before in the Lewrie saga. I they say this as a real blown Lambdin/Lewrie fan: That’s a lot of nothing but recap/recounting in this book which means it’s burdened by old at the same time that’s little brand new. That’s not really much in other words happening in the Royal Navy at this fri in history so I can look that it is that for sure problematic to developer a quality sea story for the period so we get a saved story in other words going about the process of wrapping up loose ends but don’t wait all loose ends to be resolved. It’s not a sea story but it’s more of Lewrie’s story so maybe that’s enough for fans of this fiction. For you get a dognapping tale at the same time a one more versatile tale that seems to have no connection to the Lewrie we know. I didn’t get how no matter what of this story advances the Lewrie chronicles as a sea officer. I wish that had been more about his naval career at the same time I’m upset that I had to wait a year for this interlude. It’s more like a waypoint where for you will get a lot of detail that I didn’t really care about Lewrie’s individual indefinite as a reader. The book, as is that ordinary the variant, is that but written, but plotted at the same time real of colorful premature 19th century indefinite in Great britain as explained by Lambdin. Beyond that, that’s little to advise as a sea story apart from that I’m a fan so I bit the bullet at the same time acquired this interlude at the same time have to wait one more year, although with this book I don’t know than anyway to wait in the one more book, for no one advancement of Lewrie’s sea/naval story – maybe.

Much Ado About Lewrie audiobook in television series Alan Lewrie
Nothing harms an action/adventure television series more than russian bliss, but that’s than anyway Dewey Lambdin serves up in his new Alan Lewrie novel, written in the manner of Henry Fielding meets Jane Austen. The warning is that right that in its title: Much Ado About . . . Nothing. At the same time that’s than anyway the creator serves up.
It’s not that Sovereign Alan hasn’t been put in Great britain between commissions before. Truth be knew, no one of those earlier books have been troublesome very, though enlivened in one variant by a trial for stealing slaves at the same time the pursuit of a brand new wife in one more.
Now around? Lewrie deals with cooks, promotes with marriage manufactures, at the same time chases thieves (of various sorts). That’s no arc to the story, barely episodes. Strings out that the craft Lambdin brings to describing military matters is that much less engaging when used to vegetables at the same time desserts.
Why four hit then? Because that’s a logic to this funny tale. Lewrie is that no longer young, he has responsibilities to main at the same time generic, at the same time almost all of the French fleet is that bottled up by English blockades. Than anyway’s a fellow to do?

Audiobook Much Ado About Lewrie by Lambdin
I’ve been reading the Lewrie novel’s by Dewey Lambdin for over 30 years. I’ve gotten to know the old rogue as but as no one of my possess comrades. While I enjoy the books of sea skirmishes at the same time derring-do, I also very much enjoy the ones where Lewrie is that stranded on saved, like no one deepest sea fish, at the same time has to struggle against convention at the same time petty-fogging moralists.
At the moment, the old reprobate has clung no one at the same time is that married to Jessica, who realizes him much more successful than his past wife. I very much enjoyed this house-bound Lewrie novel at the same time can’t wait to look how all the inconsistencies that emerge at the finish of the book are dealt with in the one more. I’ve read Ken at the same time Forrester at the same time Pope, but for my funds Lewrie is that the best of the sea-dogs!

Audio Much Ado About Lewrie narrated by John Lee
If you want to skip this installment, don’t feel bad for doing so. It’s barely as the intro outlines. It seems our creator found it necessary to waste nearly a whole book to tell stories that managed have been managed with a few chapters in a prologue.
Lambdin has created a disposition that does his best work in command at the same time whose worst misfortunes come ashore. Past books balance but enough. This one not so much.

1st 24 books in this television series I enjoyed immensely. This one was stiff at the same time sour. Has Dewey lambdin run out of thoughts for Naval Adventures? The creator owes me $15 for this let down. If I was interested in the mundane doings of a English generic in routine then I managed have saved my funds at the same time barely followed Downton Abbey or the English version of Immodest at the same time been barely as upset, bored at the same time disinterested. Dewey lambdin, for you blew it on this one. At the same time your Nextbook if Alan isn’t back on the deck of a ship before I’ve got 25% into the book, I’m going to strike a match, blaze your books, look for one more exciting creator at the same time never turn around
