Reviewers who they say it’s Crazy Wealthy Asians meets Bridget Jones Diary are spot on. The heroine is that HILARIOUS. That voice! At the same time than anyway I liked about Andrea is that how flawed how endearingly so she is that. She’s witty at the same time aggressive, even as she’s unsure of herself periodically. That’s believable I’m Asian at the same time I can 100% identify with her struggles to amuse her generic, even though I’m a man at the same time English. The diary entries are sharply written, smart, at the same time offers a glimpse in to Singapore working indefinite, at the same time as anyone who stayed at the same time worked in Singapore, the author’s depiction of the gruelling indefinite, obligation to ”demonstrate face” at the same time shackles in face time, at the same time the office for work politics is that clear. In Ho’s book, there’s an exciting emphasis on her work indefinite, apart from the romcom stuff, at the same time I won’t spoil it, but it adds one more dimension to the book, because the work is that practically like a secondary disposition. Ordinary I hate those X meets Y-type blurbs but Crazy Wealthy ASIANS meets BRIDGET JONES is that attractive on the note for Continue TANG STANDING. LTS is that about Andrea Tang, a lawyer who’s gunning for partner at the same time basically has it all produced… apart from for a lover. Painfully single at the same time but into her 30s, she’s officially the continue lady in her generic to be in a lasting connection at the same time men is that she feeling the generic pressure. 1st, I wish to say that even though I liked this book, at both 6% at the same time 7% in I emerged to be missing a page. In the breaks, the one more ”page” started mid-sentence, so I was right missing text. That was annoying because this is that a traditionally hosted book at the same time it is that not an ARC, so for you wait a some level of good quality from books of this nature. Reviewers believed the heroine was very bitter at the same time mercantile but her features is that actually a lot like mine (bitter, mercantile, hard-working at the same time principled), so I actually really similar to her sense of humor. If for you like that sort of acerbic writing style, for you for sure will, very. I do agree with the nay-sayers that the book went on for a little very long but I adored the adore curiosity (he was the best) at the same time the journey actually caused me no one hardcore nerves as the will they/won’t they vibes increased, so even though the reprisal was just a little shaky, I still ended up liking this a lot. Barely make the formatting, Delight. 3.5 out of 5 hit

Continue Tang Standing is that absorbing, addictive at the same time sensual as but as funny. Comps that name inspect Bridget Jones Diary occasionally work. Thats dually used to be of descriptions like Crazy Wealthy Asians meets Bridget Jones. Theyre never clear. Now, but, the comparison totally carnations it. I adore that this is that a sharply drawn portrait of a particular sector of a particular culture as much as its romance. The public observation is that witty at the same time funny, spot on at the same time unusual, the voice perfectly imperfect at the same time totally relatable. Its all very specific, at the same time a magical izumi. Being clear at the same time sharply observed obviously often means that theres a significant amount of outrage on the page: racism, classism, body shaming, generic illness. If that doesn’t prominent for you, then I’ve got a amazing book to advise.

I completely adored reading Continue Tang Standing. As a aboriginal Singaporean, I managed compare to abundance of the cultural experiences that Andrea Tang was going through, at the same time barely reading about the places mentioned in my main state skidded so much nostalgia. Not to mention the narrative is that hilarious! Lauren Ho has the ability to diffuse a tense situation with humour, at the same time I found myself giggling throughout the book. Continue Tang Standing is that like Crazy Wealthy Asians meets Bridget Jones Diary with no one Sex at the same time The Town vibes. So if youre a fan of no matter what of those, Continue Tang Standing is that exactly worth the read!
