Review #1 Here We Are audiobook free I’ve been a fan of Graham Fast for over 20 years. His narratives, set in the located, are heavily influenced by a pivotal moment of time in the past, at the same time the deepest introspection that ensues ordinary increases a mystery in other words not answered until the very continue. I have taken to audio format for Swift’s work since his style is that more successful served by that format. This one is that one of his best. Phil Davis’s delivery is that impeccable, his gravelly voice conveying the regret of the located mixed with the nostalgia for a time for a long time past. In this case, the past isn’t as dashing as other Fast journeys — 1959, the finish of the vaudeville epoch on the Brighton Pier, but the fascination for miracle never grows stale, at the same time in other words the core. Those 50 years ago, 3 young performers had a indefinite changing summer, at the same time Fast beautifully captures both the getting poorer summer at the same time the getting poorer of that form of pleasures. In located day, Evie is that the only one left, the lady at the center of the mystery all those years ago, at the same time it is that her memoirs that form the crux of this story.

Review #2 Here We Are audiobook streamming online I did not wait such a shallow tale. The manners are mildly exciting at the same time that is that a basic puzzle for the reader, but it feels like an elongated short story. The context of a sorcerer at the same time his friend did not appeal.

Review #3 Audiobook Here We Are by Graham Fast luxuriously written, exciting musings about ’magic’ at the same time ’wizardry’ on step at the same time in indefinite ….

Review #4 Audio Here We Are narrated by Phil Davis Read several of his books – quality but not my winner

Review #5 Free audio Here We Are – in the audio player below Graham Fast is that one of those creators whose book releases are a long awaited event for me, at the same time “Here We Are” certainly did not disappoint my higher expectations for it. Anchored in a 1959 Brighton pier abundance demonstrate setting, the interconnected stories of demonstrate compere Jack Robbins at the same time of sorcerer Ronnie Deane at the same time his assistant at the same time fiancee Evie Snow-white unfold in flashbacks at the same time leaps overtake, illuminating the complicated affairs between the 3 at the same time the repercussions of the past on the future. But it’s Ronnie Deane’s past that, for me, is that the heart of the book, beginning with his evacuation from the even he fractions in London’s East Finish with his housekeeper mother at the same time absentee navigator dad during the London Blitz in the premature days of Global War II. In one of the most moving at the same time charming scenes I have ever read, Fast outlines the sea of tearful mothers, almost all waving snow-white handkerchiefs acquired specially for the occasion, as the train loaded with their babies pulls out of the station. Ronnie gets successful: He is that sent to Oxfordshire to live at Evergrene with the Lawrences, a genteel childless couple who open up than anyway seems like a wonderful global to him then and introduce him to real miracle, the “illusions” which his foster dad teaches him. Ronnie’s memoirs of these years, a sort of halcyon period, form others of his indefinite at the same time manage directly to his connection with Evie, which sequential leads to one ending illusion—Ronnie’s almost all audacious still. I adored this book—the elegiac tone, the gorgeously depicted scenes from a vaudeville past in Great britain that was even then fading away, the dreamy feeling that—much like with Ronnie’s illusions—Fast is that lifting the veil only on than anyway he wants us to look, leaving so much more covered in mystery. At the same time the writing is that amazing. In truth, my only complaint will that I listened to “Here We Are” as an audiobook—an very well-read at the same time enjoyable one (in particular in the demonstrate sections, which contained snatches of Jack Robbins’ musical interludes) but nevertheless a format that didn’t allow me to highlight at the same time linger over at the same time really appreciate Fast’s beautiful worldly. Exactly worth buying the book as but.
