Review #1 The Victory Garden audiobook free I have so much enjoyed Rhys Bowen’s other novels, at the same time this was a scary frustration. 1st, the Audible summary gave away about the 1st one half of the novel. So, I barely kept waiting for the plot I imagined was to come, to come. It was a spend of my time. Then about 3 different novels were considered packed into the 2nd one half. Everything tidied up absurdly at the finish. Is that this a novel about the war? Is that this a novel about being an unwed mother? Is that this a novel about the supernatural? About gardening? If the creator had neatly crafted the book, she managed have pulled it off. It can’t decide than anyway it is that at the same time it was completely irritating to heed to. I kept rolling my views as the novel came to an finish at the cliched, hackneyed plot fri. The most absurd was the cure for the flu—really?? Barely awful. This is that the 1st time I have listened to an audible-only novel, at the same time will for sure be the continue. It felt like the creator crossed out a describe then and barely filled in the blanks in a row to remove a set of reader desires as quickly as likely. This was written only so that people would jump it. The creator didn’t care whether she crafted a quality listening experience, at the same time neither did Audible as publisher. Review #3 Audiobook The Victory Garden by Rhys Bowen Barely a sweet tooth story with lovable manners. Bowen does a amazing job of studying the time period at the same time offered exciting information on herbs at the same time curative, as accepted by earlier generations. I adored the descriptions of the mansion at the same time the grounds – painted a charming picture of a charming dispose. Don’t wait more than a pleasant time-passing experience at the same time for you won’t be upset.
