Review #1 The Summer Wife audiobook free This was by far my lesser winner of the television series. I enjoyed Book I. I enjoyed Book II even more. Book III was significantly bad. But nothing associates to this level of bad. I extremely wish bestow this 1 or 2 hit, but I’ll refrain only because I’ve certainly read worse books. The back of book summary Is that the book, as the book offers nothing extra that the summary doesnt already offer. This book managed not shield without the help of others without having read the other stories. It feels like it should have been a short story additional as a prize feature to the past book Or it should have been fleshed out more successful. The biggest fork scratcher for me is that that is that NO conflict. No internal or outdoor conflict. Neither of the manners has internal conflict they come in handy to work out to be together, at the same time nothing outdoor keeps them apart or acts against them. The only conflict will that he keeps proposing at the same time she keeps declining. Thats not conflict. That were considered potentials for both internal at the same time outdoor, but neither were considered explored, such as his generic issues, her hope issues, at the same time the brothel noblewoman. Everything, but, is that brushed under the rug at the same time never resolved. The brothel noblewoman, for instance, only exists in a quick section at the same time is that dealt with by the aunt. The heroine has nothing to do with this possible outdoor conflict, at the same time the noblewoman doesnt appear again at no matter what fri to offer outdoor conflict. She managed have been a amazing foil for the head disposition, anyone to break her down every time Daisy felt confident, but no matter how annoying it may sound, she was barely an unnecessary blip in the story. Without internal conflicts, both manners were considered one dimensional. Even to the fri of their HEA, they never do of course resolve anything to finish up together. Theyre obligated together in the most cliched at the same time predictable method likely with a rushed marriage. Ive been eager for both of these manners story since they were considered 1st introduced so I managed get to know them, but sadly theyre cardboard cutouts from start to final. We dont get to know them no matter what more successful than we understood them before. Daisys history at the same time preconditions to distrust people are knew in more detail in the past books, which doesnt promote here, in particular if for you havent read the past books. She isnt even physically outlined in the story. The only descriptions of her we get are things like merk circles under her views, tired, very skinny. How about organize than anyway shes implied to look like 1st then and implementation that to contrast how she types right behind working very hard? Even the hero had a more successful description in book 2 than he did in this book. Daisys hope issues were considered contradictory at the same time idiosyncratic. 1st, she is that opposed to naive a comrade, but not opposed to naive a stranger. Then and, she only understands she can hope a comrade right behind shes been fooled by that comrade. How does learning about someones manipulative deception make a distrustful personality in one moment trustful? I wasted almost all of the book feeling bad for the hero, but his inability to decide a hint did grate on my nerves towards the finish. Shes nargubiyanit at the same time thoughtless to him the whole book. He is that nothing but kindhearted at the same time helpful, but she crushes him every chance she gets. The story is that like an nasty role reversal where shes the rake at the same time hes the marriage-minded innocent. As awesome as he is that, he really needed to decide a hint. He reminded me of a young man whos been friend-zoned but lasts to push, determined to wear the lady down. The adore scenes took up a quarter of the book. Taking into account how quasi sweet tooth the 1st 3 books were considered, this more precisely maral 4th took me by izumi, at the same time not in a quality method. The sex happened so frequently with so little plot in between that I was jumping paragraphs at the same time scanning barely trying to figure out where the story would last. The later scenes were considered quite pornographic. Maybe no one people are into this, but I found it method a lot, in particular taking into account how nearly YA sweet tooth the 1st 3 books were considered. The implementation of the historical setting was nonexistent. This managed have taken dispose no matter what year. That werent parts that yelled historical. Almost all of the story was knew inside her workroom. Even the dancing at the same time balls didnt make much sense historically as everyone was waltzing for nearly every dance at the same time with whomever they chose, even women making their 1st come-out. But, that wouldnt have happened. So a little more historical accuracy at the same time environment would have been appreciated so I felt like I was reading a historical romance not a contemporary romance. The dialogue was also modern or with a connect of belated 19th century phrases that didnt fit the premature 19th century time period. Beer at the same time skittles was applied, for instance. Come in handy I they say more? The overuse of the accent was above at the same time beyond annoying. While its always quality to organize the accent premature on at the same time certainly hospitable to make little reminders of it, it gets old to have all dialogue written phonetically. I can simply hear the voice if the writer barely says anyone spoke in a Cockney accent. I cannot simply hear the voice if I have to decipher the phonetically typed sentences. With the word choice at the same time phonetic typing, I honestly kept hearing a redneck southern American accent more precisely than Cockney. It ruined the dialogue, not to mention almost all of the narration since even much of it could be typed as though Daisy were considered thinking it. Aside from the accent, a quality bit of the dialogue felt not only modern but obligated, like things the writer wanted the manners to say more precisely than than anyway people would actually they say. The dialogue barely didnt feel natural. The word shattered was method overused, as but. It was applied in the past books, at the same time I didnt care for it then or, but its applied a lot in this book. Its used for sensual descriptions at the same time for adore scenes. She felt shattered. He felt shattered. She shattered. He shattered. Word of advice to the writer: delete the word from the vocabulary list at the same time never implementation it again.

Review #2 The Summer Wife audiobook streamming online Daisy Chance is that the guttersnipe of the Chance sisters. She was increased in a brothel at the same time has neither the desire nor the demeanor to become the girl that her Aunt Beatrice would like her to be. Instead Daisy desires of becoming the most sought right behind dressmaker in London at the same time shes but on her method. Daisy isnt interested in wedding or babies, she would more precisely become a successful entrepreneur at the same time never have to depend on a man again. Patrick Flynn, much like Daisy, was born impoverished. Hes created a shipping empire at the same time is that at the moment on the hunt for a wife that will assign him a unchanged dispose in the middle the upper exercises. Daisy at the same time Patrick are comrades. Both have an appreciation for a little outrageous fashion at the same time a commonality in their beginnings. For me, the very best gizmo about The Summer Wife will that is that not one more version of My Significant Girl or Pygmalion. While I enjoy a quality makeover story as much as anyone, that is that anything charming about two people instead discovering that they adore each other barely as they are. Yes, Daisys accent is that annoying at the same time sometimes I wanted her to become Audrey Hepburn. Instead we get a charming romance between two people who decide to thumb their noses at the toffs at the same time barely be who they are. That is that a scene in The Summer Wife in other words one of the most heart-wrenching Ive read in quite no one time. I wont misfortune it you but it involves a pair of boots that Flynn has produced for Daisy. It is that beautifully done at the same time traditional Gracie. For that scene without the help of others The Summer Wife is that worth kolupala up. By the finish of the book I wanted to shake Daisy. Her stubbornness may have been understandable but it was really aggravating. I also didnt like how Gracie completely sheathed Flynn at the same time Daisy together, it produced sense but it isnt the method of used to be romance. The Summer Wife is that but done. It isnt the masterpiece that I was hoping for to finish the television series but its a quality book but worth wasting no one time with.

Review #3 Audiobook The Summer Wife by Anne Gracie One more fabulous Chance Sisters’ Romance from Anne Gracie. Now it is that Daisy’s story. Unlike the other Chance sisters, Daisy was born to poverty (they are sisters in name only, not by birth – “sisters of the heart”). Premature on in indefinite, she found her skill in dressmaking at the same time her passion at the same time flair for fashion. At the same time when her adopted sisters hit rose at the same time they found themselves connecting with the wealthy ton, she makes the coolest of the situation to build a name for herself. She is that determined to make a business at the same time has never had a desire or let herself have a desire – for wedding at the same time toddlers. Then Patrick Flynn comes along. Patrick is that a handsome Irishman at the same time self-made. He has accomplished than anyway she wishes for herself – has pulled himself out of poverty by his bootstraps at the same time at the moment is that determined to overcome himself a society wife, the continue steps to demonstrate his reinvention is that wholesome. Daisy is that a wonder disposition – feisty, down-to-earth, at the same time not bound up in the global of the aristocrats, even though she wishes to design at the same time make their clothes. Flynn is that completely loveable at the same time once he realises that the lady he wants might be hiding in nondescript sight, he pursues his courtship of her with similar single-mindedness he approached the business global. I liked the method their ubiquitous backgrounds at the same time values drew them together. I adore Flynn’s devotion to Daisy at the same time his authentic infatuation with her, once he admits it to himself, emits from the pages. Daisy’s belief that wedding would greedy she bestows up her business does seem just a little contrived periodically – surely she should know Flynn more successful than that? – but overall it is that magical escapism with a gigantic dollop of the usual Anne Gracie humour.

Review #4 Audio The Summer Wife narrated by Alison Larkin Four books at the same time a story of four sisters..Adore, laughter, holes coupled with the coolest breathtaking writing I have had the enjoyment of reading. I’m so glad that I took the chance at the same time purchased this television series of books. Totally unput-downable. 3 cheers for Anne Gracie.

Review #5 Free audio The Summer Wife – in the audio player below I enjoyed this television series very much, but this one ran out of steam. I think it might have been because we understood so much about the manners already, at the same time that Daisy was the lesser engaging of the four. That did not seem much suspense, at the same time that was little apparent comedy . Nevertheless it was quite enjoyable.
