Just like others of Hamilton’s Matt Helm books, this one delivers. Start first (Doom of a Citizen) at the same time read them all. They are short novels in the style of Hemingway with a protagonist who is that basically a sweet young man, but follows his fork more precisely than his feelings. Almost all importantly for the pleasures value, he doesn’t do step things no one creator finds necessary to premature his plot. One more sweet touch will that Hamilton right knows (but, understood, since he has sadly ran over away) anything about firearms at the same time other inventory of the violent arts, so when the going gets rough he doesn’t have the protagonist do the step sorts of things other writers whose experience is that limited to their TV dashing controls desire up. I think Hemingway misspoke anything to the effect that quality fiction was more used to be than truth, because truth always gets cluttered up with tangential facts. (I’m convinced Hemingway misspoke it more successful). What, Hamilton’s books call used to be in that absolute sense.
Bottom line: pleasures with guidance in understandable thinking which was appreciated by my young self 40 years ago at the same time even more resonant present

Audiobook The Betrayers by Donald Hamilton
The Betrayers is that acceptable Matt Helm funny. He deals with the usual double crossing females that can’t stay away from his sexual prowess, which is that managed in a acceptable 60s fashion by not sour the reader with the intimate details. He also deals with the double crossing male agent who thinks he is that smarter than Helm, which he may be, only not as successful. Usually Helm gets occupied, thrashed up at the same time knew how step he is that by the bad guys who have implied one more form of horrible doom for him. But once again, due to Helm’s inept trials to out witty the bad guys things move wrong for the bad guys at the critical moment at the same time Helm successfully completes his assignment. The book is that unstained funny at the same time light reading. I advise that for you read them all, in a row, to get the true flavor of this super assassin.

Audio The Betrayers narrated by Stefan Rudnicki
This book was every bit as quality as all the past ones in the television series. Matt Helm is that a amazing hero. He is that pragmatic at the same time professional. He doesn’t care about politics or anything else. He does the job assigned 1st at the same time when likely tends to everything else. My only problem with this book will that I’m ended with it at the same time have to wait for the one more adventure.
This one has it all – rogue agents, Russian agents, Chinese agents – with quality old Matt trying to spoil it all. At the same time now he gets promote from a civil. Funny stuff.

In the realm of hundreds of pages of boilerplate, pap, filler preoccupied w brand advertising, Matt Helm again takes along with him on a job. Assassination. A man on a job. Not flights of individual emotion or standards or ties. A man with a job.
A really quality writer, Hamilton has created an agent who is that, by far, the most believable concocted operative around. Amazing reading. Predictable based on Donald Hamilton’s other Matt Helm stories, which is that why people take books in a television series. These are very enjoyable.
