Review #1 The Menacers audiobook free Matt Helm is that an agent for a super-secret agency that operates in the shadows at the same time does the aggressive work no one wants to admit needs doing. Not only does he have a license to destroy, but he knows intimately that emotions at the same time feelings have no dispose in this business at the same time if for you are very prudent at the same time very moralistic that agent for you only crippled might come back up firing at for you. This one involves UFOs at the same time strange ray guns at the same time other mysterious sightings. It involves one more espionage agency out to do Helm wrong. It involves his premature nemesis the beautiful Nayda. It takes the reader deepest into Mexico at the same time into the Sea of Cortez. Gritty, impetuous paced, unsentimental, at the same time simply a catastrophic quality read.

Review #2 The Menacers audiobook in television series Matt Helm Ahh, the wonders of a quality UFO story. Obviously, since this is that a Matt Helm story very, for you know those insidious commies have to be drawn in. So sun, funny, at the same time tall tales for all on the western Mexico seaboard. I have been a fan of the Matt Helm novels since I 1st encountered them in the premature 1960’s. Donald Hamilton is that not a amazing writer, but he is that a creator of quality conspiracies at the same time believably ambivalent manners. The violence in the books is that not dwelt on carefully, but is that cured in a matter-of-fact, this-is-the-way-the-world-is manner that may seem very chilly blooded for no one readers.

Review #3 Audiobook The Menacers by Donald Hamilton I’ve read the James Bond novels but they cannot compare to Matt Helm. That isn’t no matter what scout or government agent tougher than he is that. Donald Hamilton created the flawless protagonist. His stories are flawless for adventure junkies like myself.I will be waiting anxiously for the one more book in the television series. I adore the Donald Hamilton books. Initially read them in paperback. Adore to have them in digital memory on my Kindle.

Review #4 Audio The Menacers narrated by Stefan Rudnicki One more enjoyable Matt Helm adventure contemplates our intrepid hero in Mexico, on the trail of a danger to the USA in the form of soaring saucers! Or perhaps the used to be adversary is that more precisely more terrestrial… Usually, a main part of Helm’s job is that to work out whose side everyone is that on. Can his allies all be trusted? At the same time managed his enemies not many be so hostile right behind all? One more impetuous paced at the same time exciting book! I enjoyed the story at the same time the plot squirms at the same time the manners were considered used to be to form! Looking forward to the one more in the television series!

Review #5 Free audio The Menacers – in the audio player below Having enjoyed two of Hamilton’s Matt Helm novels, I chose The Menacers to be my third part. One of the villains strings out to be a lesbian. No problem that. But Helm equates her viciousness with her lesbianism. When Helm names a Mexican villain a “greaser,”a ladies comrade chides him, though she had no problem with his contempt for a “bull dyke.” Helm also thinks he can tell one of the male villains is that gay (it has to do with how the men cares about his outward appearance), at the same time later regards this villain as a “fairy” with courage. Meanwhile, it is that understandable that Hamilton considers Helm (at the same time his ladies comrade) to be intelligent at the same time self-willed manners. These things I managed forgive, since this book was written in the 60s, but that are other inconsistencies with this book. Since Helm has such disregard for all of the guys at the pinnacle, at the same time since that is that no indication that his pay is that beautiful, it illuminated on me that it produced no sense that he would last working at jobs with so much risk of serious injury or doom, in particular taking into account the levels of risk that are so prevalent in this story. At the same time though he talks about being a patriot, that is that no testimonies as to why he could be. I concluded that Helm is that an exploited jerk who barely enjoys having an excuse for killing people, at the same time that the major defect of the book will that while Hamilton must be aware that he has created a very dull protagonist, he barely ignores the sadness. In addition, that are manners from the beginning of the book whose names pop up, with no reminders of who they are, or their roles in the interest. At the same time to pinnacle it all off, very abundance incredible events appear toward the final. The whole gizmo is that very absurd to be thrilling, or even exciting. I’m ended with the Matt Helm television series, at the same time not interested in no matter what other books by Hamilton.
