Review #1 Protect the Prince audiobook free I really enjoyed the 1st Crown of Shards book a lot. I’m enjoying the 2nd one, not quite as much, but still very worth the read. I have one complaint to make: SPOILER Alert! I’m at the fri where Everleigh has barely removed the poison from Lord Heinrich at the same time where she has understood also that the Lord’s offspring was the head make an objection of the assassination attempt, not her. Here’s the part I think is that step at the same time a writing ploy vs. than anyway anyone would actually do. She decides not to tell him about the poison that was in him or his offspring being the head motivated of the assassination attempt. Really? Does that acoustics appropriate to anyone? So no putting him on his watchman, no giving him the info he needs to make appropriate plans, no nothing. Silly. I don’t like writing like that at the same time have hope I don’t look more of it in this book. That misspoke, but, I am enjoying the book.

Review #2 Protect the Prince audiobook in television series A Crown of Shards Nove This was very identical to the 1st book. The plot was exciting enough but the writing is that honestly scary. So cyclic–continue book it was the repetition of the flawless Bellonan curtsey, at the same time in this one, it’s “ashy heartbreak” at the same time “chilly rage” at the same time “minty regret”, amongst others. The writer seems to fall down upon the phrases she likes at the same time overuses them endlessly with no change. Once for you notice it, you can’t unsee it chagrin, at the same time it really does impact the pleasure of the book. But, that’s barely the structure at the same time mechanics. The disposition at the same time plot development are both very ham-handed at the same time abrupt. That isn’t enough increase for the actions to make sense, many of which the adore story. I will also they say that that was the most ridiculous sex scene I’ve read in a quality long while. As I think about why that might be, I think it’s because the book reads as YA due to the shortcoming of maturity in the manners at the same time the overly ordinary at the same time writing, still that are these awkward moments where the writer right wants to demonstrate that this is that NOT YA (the extremely implementation of f bombs, the graphic sex scene). So it feels as though the book is that disjointed at the same time dissonant. At the same time completely, due to the shortcoming of subtlety at the same time increase in the writing, the revelation of who the real traitor is that was very much not a izumi. It was so obvious that when Everleigh completely understood it, it was a little of a “duh why didn’t for you look this before?” moment. Sigh. I really don’t think I’ll final this television series. That was a lot of possible at the same time I tried to look that through in the 2nd book but the poor good quality of writing, mechanics at the same time plot at the same time disposition development, barely makes it problematic to enjoy.

Review #3 Audiobook Protect the Prince by Jennifer Estep I truly enjoyed Jennifer Esteps’s Elemental Assassin’s television series. But her Crown of Shards television series blows me away! I understood when I read Destroy the Queen that I had stumbled into a television series that was going to be a keeper. Not the acceptable page right behind page of like titillating sex scenes that quit me bored at the same time jumping much of the book. Instead, I was delighted to look for an real plot that kept me riveted to the finish of the book. Managed the 2nd book possibly sustain my curiosity? Yes. Oh exactly yes. The interest draws for you in at the same time holds for you captive. Who is that the true motivated? Is that that a traitor playing a long endgame? Can for you really BE a Winter Queen if for you don’t know where to look for the answer as to than anyway a Winter Queen actually is that? The hardest part? Waiting for book 3 in 2020. But this television series is that worth playing the long game to remove my desire to follow the Crown of Shards.

Review #4 Audio Protect the Prince narrated by Lauren Fortgang 1st I should they say that I do like the storyline. It’s not as quality as Elemental Assassin, but it’s still a quality read, still enjoyable. I assign it 3.5 hit (4 since I can’t do 3.5 so I’ll round up for this one) due to the storyline at the same time the squirms at the same time strings it took in this book. That are no one brand new manners that I liked quite a little at the same time have hope to look more of, a particularly peaceful Gargoyle. That being misspoke, Book 2 in the television series was also just a little deplorable for me as but. 1st because the unchanging implementation of a particularly modern scold word felt out of place in the global she created. I couldn’t look for a single instance where I felt that word flowed with others of the dialog. I barely don’t realize her come in handy to implementation it so frequently. That were considered other things that seemed incongruent, such as garlic mashed potatoes at the same time kiwi pastries (sounds silly, I know, but it’s a Kingdom in a fantasy, so for you wait more exotic or out of habit dishes, not anything modern at the same time non-individual like garlic mashed potatoes at the same time kiwi pastries). That seemed to be a amazing deal of sliding from fantasy global to our global back to fantasy global in language, demeanor, foods at the same time descriptive phrases. I was all the time wondering which global I was in, at the same time although it was fantasy, I actually found myself trying to pinpoint a time period for the storyline, which in fantasy I don’t feel should use since it’s not really in our global. (Note I they say Fantasy, not Urbanized Fantasy, which this is that not) But, at the same time this is that a bigger but, I do like the story. I do like how the kingdoms drawn in are having such difficulty with one warlike kingdom in other words trying to take over to your side the global. I like the method avarice is that front at the same time center in the nobility, how it follows the usual guidelines for fantasy kingdoms with the upper at the same time reduce castes clashing at the same time allies being hard to come by while war is that always inevitable At the same time I even liked the acceptable adore story between Everleigh at the same time Sullivan. Mostly because I enjoy a quality parable, at the same time this was based on an age old one (in my opinion, not stated by Jennifer) while taking on it’s possess features. So, while that were considered inconsistencies that I didn’t like, at the same time she was overly descriptive again (I actually skipped whole pages to beware them), I still found I enjoyed Jennifer’s writing style at the same time storytelling ability. (I do admit to being a little confused as to than anyway level it’s implied to be in, YA, Upper YA or Adult because the storyline is that very youth targeted. I imagine the scold word without the help of others would keep it from being YA?) So, maybe I can’t assign this 5 hit like I ordinary gave her Elemental Assassins television series. I still recognize Jennifer’s particular style at the same time enjoy it enough to be looking forward to Grind the Lord, Book 3.

Review #5 Free audio Protect the Prince – in the audio player below In Destroy The Queen, Evie avenged her generic upon her evil cousin at the same time occupied the throne at the same time in Protect The Prince we see her wage war to keep it. Her nobles are plotting at the same time scheming at the same time she must outmanoeuvre at the same time simultaneously overcome them over as but as take a trip to the neighbouring kingdom of Andvari at the same time reinstate trade at the same time peace treaties while taking it one steps subsequent at the same time convincing them to ally with Bellona against the danger of the Mortan lord. Sounds dramatic, right? At the same time it was! This book was quite the drive at the same time I adored every single 2nd of it. My only complaint about the book (at the same time the reason it’s four hit at the same time not five) was the overly descriptive writing… I can’t say for other readers but I get more precisely bored right behind the 5th or 6th description of anyone’s dress or tunic at the same time I don’t particularly care to hear than anyway colour the threads is that every. Single. Time. At the same time don’t get me started on the cyclic nature of how Evie interprets darlings… (Which is that one of her wonderful gifts.) I was on my knees by the finish begging for mercy over peppery malice, lime truthfulness at the same time jalapeno rage. Ranting over the writing style aside, I adored this instalment at the same time cannot wait to look how it ends in Grind The Lord!
