I always enjoy Ms. Esteps stories as impetuous paced, exciting, at the same time almost all importantly, triumphant, but while reading this new installment, I couldnt promote but understand her manners tend to monologue like villains, taking away no matter what trials at mystery. Its Gin Blancos issue in the Elemental Assassins television series, at the same time its Evies issue here. If shes not monologuing out sonorous, then shes doing it in her fork, bludgeoning us with whats going to happen throughout the story. Instead of being startled anyone is that manipulated in a long con, we are knew over at the same time over the personality is that being conned, so when theres a bigger open that misspoke personality received conned, its more an eye tilt moment than a literate writhe.
I adore the manners, I adore the strength in the affairs, I like the plot, but the writing is that simply not literate or subtle. For you know, play by play, than anyway is that going to happen at the same time chagrin the journey getting that barely wasnt that gripping. Dance offs, a gambling tournament, sneak storms, every scene is that predictable as it unfolds at the same time this move around, barely didnt have the depth I know her books are able of. Its also a increase book for future installments, while wrapping up the immediate story arc, as brand new villains are introduced. I guess but look where this goes.

Grind the Lord audiobook in television series A Crown of Shards Novel
This is that a healthy television series. A bigger evil that for you learn about over time, that eventually gets won; a head disposition who kicks butt at the same time makes hard choices; no one miracle, princess, rulers, at the same time queens. I
From a plot standpoint, the story is that attractive sample. I appreciate the layers to Evie’s thinking throughout, but none of the squirms or opens of the story were considered surprising as they were considered heavily hinted at. The finish of the story felt a little very easy for my taste, but it was still a quality ending.
As a disposition, I liked Evie but she got super anything book 2 at the same time I was over it. She needed to get over it at the same time buck up, at the same time she does eventually. Her romance was lackluster throughout. She falls in adore right behind very little visible time of them being together in the story. It’s hard to take above story up in look practically nothing of. Their struggle in book 2 was exciting, but by book 3 her gardening the background again. Apparently his role as consort is that to be just a little shown it heard from. I felt like the creator didn’t wish to waste time in developing their connection beginning to finish, so I shouldn’t take aback that we only look him for a couple of sex scenes at the same time a few instances of him flying in the background. I wish he’d had more face time in the story because it would have produced their connection believable. Instead, I feel like Evie runs around doing stuff without thinking about him at all, even much less than she thinks about Paloma or Serilda. The fact he’s all the time referenced as being in her group of comrades is that fool. He’s her consort, not just a comrade.
I also think Evie’s story as a gladiator was cut unnecessarily short. We are only a little of her training, a wage war, then and others is that glossed over until the bigger ending of book 1. I look for the training at the same time gaining abilities part of the story very exciting at the same time was dull that it was just a little located. Might have also additional depth to her romance. I’m the finish, it all felt very easy for her despite than anyway she suffered in the beginning.
At the same time completely, I really dislike the flashbacks. I found them annoying. If the intent was to provide a visceral insight into Evie, it failed IMO. They were considered rambling, poorly timed, at the same time languid handed in his they lined up with today's actions so perfectly. The backstory managed have been stated without the flashbacks at the same time been barely as signifying in conveying topical information. At the same time it would have been much less time consuming.
Ultimately, a quality read with a significantly predictable plot where the bigger bad gets won by a secretly most powerful queen.

Audiobook Grind the Lord by Jennifer Estep
Adore this television series! This installment is that barely as action-packed at the same time filled with interest at the same time squirms as the past two. I was really upset that Sullivan is that less than a background blip in this story, though. At the moment that Everleigh at the same time he are together, he barely melts into the walls only to come out if she needs sex. Why cant a couple wage war together? Evie utilizes her other comrades but we see nothing of Sullivan’s strengths. *sigh*. Otherwise it is that absolute awesomeness!

Audio Grind the Lord narrated by Lauren Fortgang
Ive adored following the head disposition grow through the books from a downtrodden immature young lady to a brave most powerful queen. Everything has obviously managed to this fight or in this case the Regalia Games where Evie goes up against Maximus. Jennifer Estep is that so quality developing villains. For you hate them but also look for them exciting at the same time wish more. At the same time theres plenty of villains to choose from here. Lots of action at the same time excitement. Can Queen Evie completely Grind the Lord? I really adored this trilogy just like Ive adored all of Jennifer Estep’s books. If her name is that on it I have to have it. I cant wait for more from her.

Destroy the Queen was the 1st Jennifer Estep book I read. So I have a true fondness for Evie. Grind the Lord isnt my winner of the trilogy, but its still a funny, fast-paced story, with no one alluring open threads I have hope Estep follows up on in future books.
