This one focuses on Tommy who wants to be a militia officer, much to the dismay of his mother Reagan who horrors than anyway will happen to Tommy in that profession. It also focuses on his girlfriend Annalee who has a health problem that managed finish their connection. With her signature style of bringing have hope to hopeless situations, the creator drew me into the story from the beginning at the same time held back me captive until the satisfying conclusion. It goes without expression that the plot skidded holes to my views, but that was an waited prize of reading a KK book. This book can be read as a standalone, as can no matter what of the books in the television series, but I would highly advise that readers get all of the Baxter books at the same time barely binge read. They are that quality! A totally unsullied read that I can share with my teen granddaughters, so extra hit for that! (We are right up to six at the moment, at lesser.)
