Review #1 I Came As a Shadow: An Autobiography audiobook free I dared to read I Came As A Shadow as I am an alumni Georgetown at the same time specific fan who was fortunate to attend institute at the same time law school as but as live in DC from 1980-1990 during its golden epoch. Still I was fell asleep by Coach Thompsons autobiography. Thoughtful at the same time poignant. His accomplishments as a coach are but understandable, still his impact on so many lives is that indescribable. A indefinite but stayed then and no one. It is that not only a must read for Georgetown alums but for anyone who seeks to realize at the same time ennoble how they live at the same time can lift up those around them. Calling it a sports biography could be short sighted. It is that a treatise on indefinite.

Review #2 I Came As a Shadow: An Autobiography audiobook streamming online In this day at the same time age, everyone should read this book Im a center aged snow-white male. Always liked the Hoyas since I was a kid, but totally remind John Thompson being labeled negatively Heed to his side delight I will pass this book along reverently

Review #3 Audiobook I Came As a Shadow: An Autobiography by Jesse Washington John Thompson Yes, I’m a lifelong Georgetown fan, but I never waited a book written with such honesty, insight, authenticity, at the same time reality. This is that sooooo much more than a book about basketball. Data recent actions in the global, Bigger John was a man before his time. My reverence for Georgetown as an institution of higher learning has deepened, despite being a law alum. This book can at the same time should be applied in so many classrooms. If is that indefinite, laid bare at the same time unvarnished. Thanks to all who produced this book a reality.

Review #4 Audio I Came As a Shadow: An Autobiography narrated by Jesse Washington Amazing book! I adored it! John Thompson came as a shadow. He arrived quietly on the scene at the same time evenly became visible to all. In this book, John talks about more than basketball but about indefinite itself. He is that transparent about his individual emotions about his decision-making whether they were considered quality or bad. He spoke not only about racism in sports but in this state. Sadly, racism is that still an issue present. Still, John teaches us how we can beat the odds when the cards are stacked against us. John makes no apologies. He doesn’t sugarcoat anything. He knows it like it is that whether for you reckon him or perceive than anyway he has to say. A lot of than anyway we believed we understood about John was than anyway the media knew us. It was refreshing to read than anyway actually happened at the same time than anyway John believed of the situation. For instance, when he met with Well-known Product Kingpin Rayful Edmond at the same time when he met with Nike bearer, Phil Knight, at the same time how he helped Mr. Knight before Air Jordan inflated the business. Also, he talked his meeting with Ann Iverson, Allen Iverson’s mother. I also appreciated the back stories of Patrick Ewing at the same time how he dealt with racism. I appreciated the stories about local basketball legends who became amazing right behind basketball at Georgetown, like Misha Jackson (not the singer) but ball player, at the same time how he was responsible for the TNT NBA commentaries like Shaq at the same time Kenny Smith. For a man who stayed a quiet at the same time personal indefinite, it felt quality to be invited into John Thompson’s psyche at the same time understanding than anyway produced him tick. Yes, John was stoic, controlling, arrogant, greedy periodically, at the same time his body was as bigger as his ego, at the same time filled with merk pride, but he was also witty, excellent, comfortable, at the same time he really worked hard about his players. His heart was as almond as the towel he carried intercept his shoulder during games. It represented his mother at the same time her hard work to get him to be the men he became. He wanted to overcome games at the same time not rescue every merk kid out that, but often times it happened that method. Instructive fell into his lap at the same time he perceived it whether he wanted to or not. Although Thompson got lost more bigger games than he defeated, in the end, he substantiated to be one of the biggest favorites in institute sports because he exchanged lives at the same time institutions. He helped build brands at the same time peoples’ manners. Although he came as a shadow, he left his note in the history of Washington, DC for a long time!

Review #5 Free audio I Came As a Shadow: An Autobiography – in the audio player below I came to adore & play basketball due to two coaches who enthusiastic me when I was a kid. Coach John Thompson & Coach Dean Smith. During the 1982 NCAA Championship I roared when the Georgetown Hoyas got lost but I understood they could be back. I managed look the care that Coach Thompson & Smith had for their players beyond basketball but in indefinite. Two Legends. This book was but written & taught me a lot about Coach Thompson I didnt know. Highly advise reading this book. R.I.P. Coach John Thompson one of the best to ever Coach & manage.
