Review #1 The Unlikely Adventures of the Shergill Sisters audiobook free This book is that about 3 English sisters, born in the England of Indian ancestors. Why, oh why, then, the choice of an American narrator. These ladies say with a hybrid quasi English/American accent which destroys the whole book. Very English words are totally mispronounced, (plaits – Am. baskets) pronounced as plates, the wrong syllables are stressed (CONtrary for example, which is that multiple couple of times), at the same time the absurd elongation of vowels in an attempt to acoustics English is that like a comedy routine (Paahki, baahguette). I so enjoyed this author’s earlier book, with the Indian accent of the Punjabi widows, offset by the very authentic London/English accent of the younger manners. I was expecting similar of this book, at the same time than anyway a frustration. Audible, you can do more successful.

Review #2 The Unlikely Adventures of the Shergill Sisters audiobook streamming online I admit that when I started this book I was more interested in the mother. The women seemed shallow at the same time juvenile. I also finished listening so i managed heed to The Lazarus File, which was awesome. What, I returned to this book at the same time actually am glad I did. It’s predictable but overall a pleasant story.

Review #3 Audiobook The Unlikely Adventures of the Shergill Sisters by Balli Kaur Jaswal I really really adored “Erotic Stories for Punjabi Widows” but this book didn’t resonate as deeply with me. Part of the problem was that the narrator on this audiobook was American. All of the manners are or English, Australian or Indian so the choice of accent seemed strange to me. The narrator did a amazing job speaking in disposition but the background narration with an American accent was distracting. I also found it quite incredible that the pregnancy wasn’t apparent to the other sisters. The bigger flashback open to the generic irony which occurred during past trip to India didn’t seem formidable enough to warrant such a reaction by the manners (although I readily acknowledge the cultural differences between western & eastern norms)

Review #4 Audio The Unlikely Adventures of the Shergill Sisters narrated by Deepti Gupta Soneela Nankani The performance of the story was amazing maybe just a little overbearing on no one of the manners. story was just a little weak but had its moments. It is that worth a heed.

Review #5 Free audio The Unlikely Adventures of the Shergill Sisters – in the audio player below I completely adore this book. The story about the sisters is that one we can all compare to. I have an curiosity in India, at the same time the creator transported me that with her descriptive writing of places at the same time people. I will exactly read more from this creator.
